Ok, I don't feel like writing a big description of the game... So i'll do it in bullet format.


Features
-The opening move won't end, it's fucking long. You think it'll end but NO.... it doesn't. Get some popcorn.
-10 starting characters, 1 secret characters, 1 alternate form of each character =22 options.
-Exhibition mode: Normal 1v1 fighting with another player, cpu or cpu vs cpu. VOW system works here
-Vow System: A shitty way to unlock characters. Basically take "vows" before matches of what you will or won't do. Go too "bad" or "good" and you'll unlock the cooresponding character.
-Story mode: It's story mode.... with a horrible story
-Gallery: Character profile, voice clips (why on earth would you want to), oogle the girl with the camera ect.


Good:
-Boobs, asses, crotch shots
-You can move the camera during the match when you put your opponent in a hold (why not always, I don't know)
-Clean pause screen (hit select)
-Some of the moves are neat looking (the one ninja one off the ropes was just bizarre), and the game is stupid fun.
-I had more fun with this than KOF:MI (that tells you how bad that was)
-Music is OK, but not my style really. And if you're going to sing yankee rose could you of least got David Lee Roth to do it.
-Unlockable outfits
-Lots of eye candy.


Bad:
-Voices, holy shit. They're really bad in story mode, but OK during actual fights. DOn't listen to hard, or blood will squirt out of your eyes.
-You can't control the camera in CPU fights, what the hell ...come on guys you know why you put cpu fights in there.
-Story is suck
-Lots of clipping
-You have to unlock characters for both modes. Meaning if you unlock a character in story, you can't play it in exhibition and visa versa. STUPID
-The mud wrestling is stupid, no thanks I don't want you to cover up what I want to see with really bad "mud"
-Humiliation moves aren't really humiliating (well they are, but they look no different than every other "lemme expose your crotch" hold)
-Camera sometimes is stupid, like not being able to see your characters when they're behind the ring.

Uh it's a wrestling game, so I don't have much way to compare it to since I don't play them. Gamplay is simple. You either hit them, throw/grapple them. .....really there's not much to it it seems.

-If you grapple you grapple a specific body part (which in itself has it's own health)
-If you hit..... you hit
-If you pin....... you pin

There's also reversals for grabs and strikes, but there's no strict timing on them whatsoever.

There's 3 super type moves

-Killer move: Hit L1 when you have a bar. This can be reversed by your opponent if they have a bar
-Lethal move; Same as killer move but done when opponent is dazed
-Humiliation move: Pretty much the same thing, but can only be done once your opponent has been humiliated enough. This is done by doing certain moves that will flaunt their naughty bits to the crowd. Once you've filled up their heart and have a bar, just hit L2.

and no, I think I voiced my opinion why I hated KOF:MI, cosmetic was one of the few things I liked.

It's a Geforce 4 (Leadtek MyVivo) with some built in video in. It's a pretty crappy capture card I think... but again I bought it mostly cause I needed a new video card for games... the capture part was just a nice added bonus.

Hell if I know....... if boasts sucked ass and unlocked crap... yes exactly like that.

Basicaly Vows will either be a good or bad vow. Once you've gotton enough vows you'll either become good or bad (mattering on where you are on the bar). Once you become 100% in either good or bad you get to fight a title bout, and afterwards it unlocks the character and their gallery mode.


So I just set it to a 1v2 player game and beat the living shit outta the non existant player so I can get enough to unlock the character.

Here's my impressions from the OTHER (cough) Rumble Roses thread. I'll probably have to make my own review (with screens! ) because well...you can't have enough of them for this title. :lol

Playing through story mode wiuth Reiko now. The voice acting is making me crack up...it really is THAT bad. :lol The story is also hilarious. Heel characters appear to have been BRAINWASHED, and despite being evil, seem to have no problem following the rules of standard wrestling bouts. The 3 count brings them back to the side of good. Right. This is no more absurd than having evil brainwashed women wrestlers in the first place, I suppose.

Boobs aside, the game play is pretty good. It's basically a simplified Smackdown! game, and it should be pretty easy for newcomers to get into. You have a set amount of strikes (using the same button, so forward and strike is a punch, back and strike is a kick, etc.), which can be chained together and interrupted with grapples, running attacks, submission holds, off-the-rope jumps, and more. Each girl also gets one lethal attack (a special pin) move and one humiliation attack which are earned during matches. These can be countered by using up one of the same attacks that have been stored up. The game also has a limb damage system for certain moves and for submissions.

Visually, RR looks pretty damn good for a wrestling game. The models are super-detailed and are quite possibly the best-looking wrestling game characters yet. And of course, all the girls bounce and jiggle like jello in the right places. ^_^; Long hair still looks like a mop head like in all the other Yuke's games though. Entrances are a mixed bag, but by that I mean that some actually look like *wrestling* entrances, and others just make the girls look like strippers. There are entirely different entrances for the mud wrestling mode as well.

The biggest problem RR has is the lack of modes, which means lack of replay value down the road. It's basically just 1-on-1 and that's it. No weapons in matches (EDIT- take this back...they're in there somewhere. One of the vows is to not use weapons), no ref...just two girls in the ring wrasslin'. You can extend the replay value by use of the VOW system, which is basically just fullfilling certain goals in the match that you choose beforehand (giving you points for unlocking heel/face personas), and every heel/face (including alternates) has a story mode available. Once you build up points with the VOW system, your character then becomes champion and you can have other wrestlers take them on in championship mode, which unlocks the characters in gallery mode to ogle.

This game could be fun with friends though...reminds me a lot of Def Jam Vendetta in how easy the game is to pick up and play. A four player mode would have really been a welcome addition.

I haven't seen any of the humiliation moves yet; are they perhaps the "flashy" moves that are missing from the game so far?

Overall, if you like wresting games and want something simpler that your non-wrestling fans will want to play, RR is a good choice. If you want teh boobs, this game most certainly also offers that. Just don't expect something as deep as Smackdown! Vs. RAW, and you're good to go.

she was fully-clothed. :lol You beat her and then you have to fight "Lady X Substance" (MGS?), a cyborg that can fully twist her upper body around...she's got some craxy moves including one where the screen flashes, a buzzer goes off, and she goes all over the ring doing something akin to Zangief's spinning lariat...only it's only the top half that's spinning! And her Killer move's a ROCKET PUNCH!! :lol I just lost to her nasty-looking submission.

It's been said already, but the heel or face versions you lock may as well be different characters. "Rowdy Reiko" rides a bike to the ring just like a certain WWE wrestler used to. I read on Gamefaqs that you can only have a Heel or Face version of your character in use at one time in exhibition mode. Not sure how that works, but it's kind of stupid since it keeps the roster cut in half at all times if true.

Despite the obvious purpose of this game, there actually is game play to back it up. It may be more simplistic than the current Smackdown! game, but it's not bad. This isn't like Dead Or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball, where the game play (for the volleyball) was so dumb.

It looks like you cannot have both evil and good characters unlocked in exhibition (the only m ode to play 2 players) at the same time. This isn't confirmed but so far people have been doing everything they can and it's not working. Why would you not let a player pick all the characters?

You can unlock them all at the same time in story mode. Exhibition is the question.

Well, at least it's easy to switch back and forth between heel and face in exhibition mode...just one match and you can easily switch.

But I wonder if using everyone in exhibition mode is something that has to be unlocked? Perhaps beating the story mode with every character and/or unlocking everything for both the heel/face version of a girl and having both sides hold and the defend the title might do something?

BTW, if you pause the game and hit select, you get a clean pause screen. Wonder why that is? Also if you go to gallery mode and let it sit for a while, interview questions will pop up at the bottom of the screen and the girl will answer them in full voice mode.

It's good to see Lyte Edge has beaten both Ferrio and myself to this discovery. I guess the spirit of the game's producer is officially +1 since Lyte used it for it's intended purpose.
