Sora Doesn’t Understand Love In Kingdom Hearts, And It Might Be Because Of Compulsory Heterosexuality

This shit reminds me of an interview of a music magazine. The interviewer got a chance to sit down with the legendary Ennio Morricone and ask him some questions. The interviewer tried to go really deep into how Morricone came up with certain melodies, and most of the time he answered "it sounded cool."
Most of the shit in KH happens the way it happens is because Nomura thought it was cool, I bet.
I am firm believer this is mostly the case with many things. But us fans get way too into it, and that then influences sequels and further development (sometimes).

I wish more creators would just be frank. It was cool so we added it. Done. I like ass, so 2B has a skirt. Done.

They really need to she/they asses out because I for one am getting tired of all these hee/haws acting like they own the goddamn joint. Next time I'm going to she/it in their bed and leave a skid mark on their living room floor.

Growing up as a deeply closeted lesbian who didn't even really know gay people existed until I was in my teens, not knowing what 'love' is or what it should 'feel' like is something I have all too much experience with. I watched a lot of animated Disney movies growing up. Just like Sora, I saw these couples fall in love. But something just wasn't clicking when I watched them. I could never see myself in the position of Belle, Ariel, Jasmine, Aurora, or any of the princesses who fell in love with a prince. 'Love' just felt alien to me.

I wonder if she could be autistic? Her take and her life story makes me wonder.

I'm guessing she/they is autistic and transgender. There are very few photos of this Rebecca Phillips and that obsession with Japanese RPGs etc is typical of male nerds. Plus the vast majority of transgender males are "lesbians".

Being autistic seems to be the hip new thing to be in woke/LGBTBBQ+ circles these days. Likely being used to earn even more oppression points and to excuse behavior that the majority of the populace doesn't find acceptable.

Also, this article is just another example of the LGBTBBQ+ trying to shoehorn their lifestyle choices into places where they were never meant to be.

Yes pretty much this. The whole thing is a bit obnoxious. I have absolutely no problem whatsoever with people of different sexuality or whatever but LGBT clan is more annoying then anything I have ever witnessed. I know lots of gay people who are annoyed by it as well. Those who applaud it are (almost) always the same kind of people.

I went to Anime Central convention this year (first time I've gone since 2007) and yeah that's very true of this fandom. So many booths were selling buttons/apparel/etc with different gender pronouns and different colors of the trans/gay pride/etc flags so you can advertise your identity to the world.

One lady (I think) came up to me like "hi, can you show me which way to get to the exit? I'm autistic so I'm not good with directions." I brought her over to the exit and she was like "thanks! I saw you had kids so I figured you must know. I needed some help because I'm autistic"

So weird how this is just some thing you throw around in casual conversation now.

Possibly, but honestly a lot of them probably really are autistic. Especially when it comes to "non-binary" people and trans. Also, in my social circles there are quite a few trans people and while it might be coincidence, pretty much all of them are also autistic.

Feeling like an alien and not fitting in is standard.

I don't want to go too deep down the rabbit hole, but if vaccines (and other external factors) can cause autism, then they can likely cause other aberrant psychological and neurological issues as well, so it's not surprising that one goes hand in hand with the other.

That's actually what Yoko Taro has basically said. He also said it again when someone asked him why the female androids all wear high heels. And he answered that he just likes it.
Yeah, that's why I use that as one of few examples of frankness. Stellar Blade probably another good recent example, probably.

It seems to be common for people from LGBT groups to see themselves in a work of fiction then head canon that as fact online. Of course that has to be shared with the world.

I can only guess it's some sort of attempt at self validation.

There is certainly no merit in the content itself.

Just leve the reporter alone ffs. Why do so many people have to come to insult her? She shared her own experience and oppinion. Something that makes sense, but for some fucking reason people need to be triggered about it and then come vomit a lot of crap about bringing bullying back or shitting on game journalism. Maybe think 2 mins before posting?

"He has all the pieces for a heterosexual romance right in front of him, but something still isn't clicking into place."

The Disney product managers? The Shonen tropes? The targeted demographic? Puberty?
