Sora Doesn’t Understand Love In Kingdom Hearts, And It Might Be Because Of Compulsory Heterosexuality

I'd think it's fine, even highly appropriate during Pride month to have a story correlating one's experience to a game character by the author being a different sexuality rather than straight (hi-ooo) projecting personal feelings onto the character themself in perhaps an attempt to recreate the character more like the writer. It seems far less "well maybe the answer is gay!" than it is just all natural awkward shyness of dealing with this new rush of emotions at that age. Plus fucks sake, it's Kingdom Hearts! Tbf I did kinda skim the article, so maybe there's something I missed. *shrug*

the main kingdom hearts characters are young kids.

I thought Italian Brainrot was the bottom of the human intellect, but those fellas at The Gamer seem really capable of digging deeper.

Been a while since I played the game but doesn't seem like a far fetched read of it. Doubt it was the authors intent but that doesn't really matter.

One things for sure though, Sora was definitely much more into Riku than boring ass Kairi (RIP Kingdom Hearts 1 Kairi, the only time she was cool)

Just leve the reporter alone ffs. Why do so many people have to come to insult her? She shared her own experience and oppinion. Something that makes sense, but for some fucking reason people need to be triggered about it and then come vomit a lot of crap about bringing bullying back or shitting on game journalism. Maybe think 2 mins before posting?

Sora, Cloud and Squall were definitely written by gay writers.

I think only Zidane and Balthier writers are heterosexual.

First time on the Internet, or a forum? It's a place where people discuss stuff. If someone writes something people are going to react and discuss it. She expressed her opinion, now people are doing the same?

Pretty sure Sora shared a fruit with Kairy that symbolizes "eternal love" at the end of KH3.

It reminds me of the retards who thought bayonetta was gay before the director made her full straight.

They actually though Bayonetta was a drag queen because "her moves resembles drag dances".

All those feelings aren't suddenly switched on when you turn 18.

Yeah but someone much older fantasizing about underage children's sexuality is what's wrong here.

Seems like far left weirdos and and far right religious nuts have that in common. 😵‍💫. They both have their long list of pedos

Sexuality being about what gender you're attracted to rather than sex itself. About who you have feelings for and the awkwardness of sorting through those feelings during those times when you're getting a sense of who you are. We don't have to add perversion to what she's actually saying even if there's a disagreement.

Kingdom Hearts is not a dating sim of any sort. Sexuality or even romance are not themes of the saga, You can fantasize over it in private but doing it publicly from an online outlet makes you a weirdo. With minors in the equation, it's much worse than that. White knighting these degenerates is not a good look.

Wut? This is an unecessary article. Like, who gets up in the morning and say "yeah, I'm writing about this today?"

Someone very obsessed who needs medical treatment or a padded room.

Nomura not being able to give Sora and Kairi or any of the characters a satisfying romantic conclusion that his maturing audience wants could stem from many factors like:

1) he is far removed from childhood adolescence
2) Disney interferes and prevents him from delving into more mature subjects therefore infantizing the narrative
3) it is simply not the core central theme of Kingdom Hearts to be an entirely romantic plot but a coming of age story about choosing to follow and remaining true to one's core beliefs and friends

Sora in many ways is typical video game character like Mario, Link or Master Chief. It's very easy for us to empathize and project ourselves into his extremely outlandish circumstances because we feel like we are journeying along with him.

So for the author of the article who was closeted as a child and they feel a connection to Sora, there is no harm in them reading it that way even if it isn't what Nomura intended. That's art. Everyone takes away their own interpretation and experience whether or not the artist meant for it to be a certain way.

In the same vein, gaffers are gonna react to this article and call her dumb because they disagree with her and won't entertain the thought of Sora being gay whether or not that's what she wanted. It's discourse. That's how it goes.

Tldr: Art is subjective; haters gonna hate.

Ahhh, the porn addicts that absolutely never impose their obsessions and politics in everything they do (it was actually the "anti-woke" people this whole time! pinky promise) are craving likes to survive in the twilight of their relevance.

Im not reading it. An neither should anyone. This is what they want, apathy is our best weapon against these idiots.

Asking for her to be bullied is not expressing an oppinion.
