Doesn't surprise me at all. Remasters are popular nowadays, there is a demand from some for Skyrim on the current gen machines, and the next Elder Scrolls, if one is even in production, is years away.

A 970 runs Skyrim at 4K Ultra settings at an average of 60fps.
I'm certain a PS4 can manage 1080p 30 just fine even with some graphical upgrades.

Why? All of the DLC included, mod support, and enhanced graphical fidelity?
That is more than enough content for a $60 purchase if you're a console player.
Obviously it doesn't make sense for PC users, but that's not relevant here.
I have no idea, but I hope so, as I would love Sunset Overdrive on PC.

No it's not.
People don't always want to have old consoles connected, also, even if hey could, people don't want to experience their favorite games at such lower fidelity anymore.
If I'm a fan of Jurrassic Park, do I want to continue watching the VHS I got in 1993? Or do I want to watch the Bluray?
Simple concept really.
Also, there are people who didn't play the game the first time around for whatever reason, who can now experience the game as if it were new.
wouldn't you rather have new stuff? every time there's a rumour about what a studio is up to or an ip gets mentioned there's always someone clamoring for the same shit they played last week with better textures. It's boring.
