Either way, this is deep in "insane if true" territory, though I guess it makes some sense since Nintendo has struggled to find a path forward for Star Fox. Why not look back to the last time they really shook up the formula?

To put things in perspective, this guy accurately stated that Emio was a Detective Famicom Club sequel during the teasing period before the official reveal and also announced Xenoblade Chronicles X DE for Switch before it was official. Sure it could have been lucky guesses but at least he got a couple of things right recently.

If it's real (pretty big if here) I wonder who could develop it. A good fit would be Next Level Games, they can do Luigi's Mansion 4 later in the gen.

Cuz if not... I wonder if he is talking about another series possibly taking the jump to Adventure. DK could do it, it's been so long since a new game.

He has teased a few other things as well. Metroid Prime 2 Remastered around February. More new Switch games announced despite incoming Switch 2 possibly launching in June. Switch 2 Announcement possibly before release of DKCRHD.

Why not both?

I don’t want Remakes, but a HD Port would be nice to hype the sequel. It doesn’t have to be AAA remaster. Just make it available on modern platforms and take advantage of the increased Performance (more FPS, more resolution). Pikmin 1+2 did this and it was fine.
