Last week, Rockstar apologised for the persistent delays to its much-anticipated multiplayer heists for GTA Online. The online heist missions were supposed to launch on “spring”, but fans are still waiting for them.

Yesterday, a Youtube user called DomisLive, who previously provided accurate info about the “I’m not a Hipster” patch for GTA Online, detailed some of these upcoming heist missions.

Don’t forget that this is unofficial info, take it with a grain of salt.

• Prison van rescue : Criminals intercept a noose van driven by NPCs and free the gang member then take him back to the gang house. 16 cops and 16 criminals can join the mission. Opens at rank 5 and is triggered by phone call.
• Drop off hooker : Blips will appear in player’s territories. Player has to go and pick up a prostitute and drop her off somewhere. The player has a time limit.
• Funeral: Gang members must escort a lieutenant’s hearse through town. Rival gang members have to get in the hearse and destroy it. This triggers after Escort Crook Boss if the boss is killed. Funeral home coords 410, – 1485.
• Territory Takeover: Players can fight to take over territory in the game, this will produce a revenue stream for them.
• Fight Gangmate: Two teams have to have a fist fight with each other. The gang lieutenant gets two team mates to have a fight as part of the initiation.
• Cop Territory: Cops are put onto the territory take over missions, they get no choice whether to take them or not.
• Ornate Bank Heist: Get behind the counter of the bank, hack into the vault, steal the money and take it to the drop off location. 16 cops and 4 criminals can join this mission.
• FIB Grab: Abseil down FIB tower, break in, download data, escape. 4 crew, 3 abseilers, 1 driver, 16 cops and 4 criminals can join this mission. All 4 heli to FIB roof, 3 abseil down tower, smash window into office and hack a data terminal to get classified data. Meanwhile, driver dumps chopper and collects getaway car and escape to gang house. Skydive out office to getaway car and escape to gang house. Cops join once crook is inside the office, cops are told to arrest the crooks. FIB office has AI agents that must be shot, 2 waves of AI agents enter based on hack progress. Shoot to kill.

DomisLive also provided info about the upcoming DLC for GTA Online. According to him, it will be titled Independence Day Pack, and is said to arrive just in time for the 4th of July Holiday. We don’t know the content of the pack, but it will allegedly include items related with the Independence Day such as fireworks.

It would be nice if I knew enough ppl to play this with. I still haven't enjoyed half of the modes that GTAO has mainly because nobody joins or only about 2 or 3 ppl from the whole session join. Everybody just wants to kill each other on free roam.

Was hoping that the heists were bigger mission-based versions of the Survival co-op.

R* have really solidified and improved the online a lot over the last few months nice little details I'm noticing when playing now.

My only moan is the speed of getting into certain MP games. It should be a lot faster it's still way too clunky.

Never gave GTAO much of a chance on PS3, as it kept kicking me out in October. I will take the dive once the PS4 version comes around, which will hopefully come with more interesting content like these rumours. I also hope that telephone poles are no longer immovable objects.

Only reason I'm thinking it's PvP is because of the "16 cops and 4 criminals can join this mission."

I'm not against it being PvP as long as there is an option to go up against a full AI team. My group of friends really aren't into PvP in any game so this may turn them off if it is against other players only.

I really hate the focus on multiplayer and really wish these guys would come out with more single player content. But I guess I get it that most gamers would rather play a multiplayer GTA game.

Sounds fun, but they're going to need a big advertising push for them. I don't think you'll get many full heist lobbies otherwise. I remember having constantly full matches around GTA launch now you're lucky if you can get a handful of people.

I really won't be surprised if they just hold off til the next gen versions are released for the biggest impact.

Also the independence day pack, there's a sheet somewhere with all of the leaked weapons and they've all been in the packs so far. I think all that's left is the SCAR rifle and another rifle which I forget. Unless they've been added already and I've forgot about them haha.

Deliver the hooker has existed in these games for a long time. Even Saints Row does it.

These were all leaked prior to the DLC updates, so looks like the weapons in the July 5th one are the SCAR rifle and whatever that light MG looking weapon with the tripod is.

PvP? C'mon. I've waited this long and now this, sigh. I'm not against making PvP modes, but make at least one PvE. This way I know that with only my crew it will be enough, because who knows how the population of the game will be in the future.

I also don't like this change (I know it's been on a while, I just started replaying after stopping in December) where you are marked for going crazy on NPCs. I mean I read that they were going to show you the state of mind of players, but a player going after NPCs really isn't the same as one that's going after players. I love wreaking (sp?) havoc on NPCs but in general I usually try to avoid starting anything with PCs unless they start it first (and I'm in the mood, otherwise I usually just run away if I can).

It just feels like I'm getting punished for playing GTA like they designed it (going crazy) even when I'm trying to avoid griefing any actual person. Why am I being punished for going after NPCs or wreaking havoc on everything around me that's not PCs?

*sigh* Yeah. I love GTA V but it seems these kind of games in general insist that it is a hallmark they treat females like crap. I wouldn't even mind if they also had some females they actually gave decent writing to. And don't say it's a parody. They still give good writing to the main characters (as in they get dimension given to them) but even the females in the main characters' life get treated as cardboard cutouts of "oh look, women are either obnoxious nags to create stress in the male character's life or strippers/hookers and sometimes both." (actually the strippers don't bug me at all. What bugs me is how they portray the main female characters honestly).

Besides, the women being parodied in GTA doesn't come off as parody as in "this image is wrong, look how ridiculous it is". It comes off as parody as in "this is so true but we exagerated it some to make it funny".

If you are expecting good representation of people.... in a GTA game, I just don't know why you are looking there.

There is nothing in GTA other than satire and stereotypes.

Except they do bother in the main characters to try to make them deeper than just that. And they can't be bothered to do so with the female characters in the storyline (which is probably why the strippers/hookers don't bug me but how they write the main female characters do).

Better late than never. Some of the non-heist modes sound like they could be fun as well so I'm sure this will be enough to get me and my friends playing again.

There's absolutely no reason to believe these are the "heists" these are practically all just new next gen multiplayer game modes, a couple with heist themed objectives.
