I doubt that very much. If Jared Leto had a whole film to himself playing The Joker it would just show how lame his performance was. To paraphrase Red Letter Media's Half In The Bag review: "Slightly quirky Marilyn Mason thug" is a pretty good description of his performance.

I'm actually of the opinion that they cut most of the Joker scenes to help disguise how bad he was. Any time he had more than 3 words of dialogue I wanted to facepalm.

I keep seeing mentions of the Half in the Bag review. I watched it and noticed that they made fun of the film for Harley having a mysterious cell phone. Um... did you guys completely miss the whole sequence around the Joker threatening a prison guard in order to smuggle the phone in?

I really feel like critics are jumping on the hate train here. Given, I enjoyed the film yet had issues with it, but some of the complaints I'm seeing just baffle me.

Yea I didn't love the movie, it has its fair share of problems but the movie wasn't even subtle about explaining how she got the cel phone.

The military is obviously not terribly effective in this universe because they have to enlist people like Harley Quinn with a baseball bat and Boomerang guy for world ending threats.

I'm still trying to figure out in what universe Waller thinks that the Suicide Squad would ever, ever be a match for a "Superman-level threat". Jesus Christ, was she paying ANY attention during the events of Man of Steel or BvS? Nobody on that team would even be a speedbump to someone on Supe's level, hell, they likely couldn't even handle Batman. It smacks of a rewrite, probably tied to Joker being the original villain (which would make a whole hell of a lot more sense) than the team of dorks with small arm weapons being expected to handle a guy who is casually bullet proof.

Enchantress would clearly had she kept her under control. But yeah everyone else should stick to small jobs which would've made for a better film.

I hope there's a scene in Justice League part 2 where Darkseid is invading the earth and Waller sends the Suicide Squad after him and he just vaporizes the entire team without even moving and Waller's just like "shit, back to the drawing board I guess".

Government officials know about kryptonite in BVS, so even if it's top secret Waller would know, and she has/had control of Enchantress and Katana (with her sword) so she definitely knows about magic.

In 10 years we look back and see that the studio hold back at the best Joker of all time. It's unbelievable how much they cut from him. There are no words, GAF. I can only pray for a Directors Cut. I wanna see Jared Letos full personification of The Joker.

Nah i am sure we gonna see more of him. Batman stand alone my guess.
