It's the kind of meal you'll eat once in a life time and never have again.
Snake is that nice meal you had in a restuarant years ago, but they closed their business recently but people want that meal back and don't shut up about it. But the chef, who was the only person who knew how to cook that meal in that particular way, has long since left the cooking business.

It's funny, we're active when there's news/hype but it dies down when it's "over" rather than repopulating the OT lol
The best part about this Necro is the fact that it popped up right after the "Smash will be a part of the NX launch" rumor. Like, if this happened 3 days ago, Spyder could've been vindicated because there was no reason to expect anyone after Bayonetta. The odds of the rumor being true, let alone it meaning new characters that include Shovel Knight, are still sketchy. Nevertheless, they're significantly better than they were a week ago.
The fact that Bufo's perma'd and was probably trolling at that time's pretty good, too, though. I didn't even know he was gone.

Oh I know. Maybe I misinterpreted Alberto's post, but he made it sound like IF there were characters added (for say the rumored NX port) that with Bayonetta there was absolutely zero point because "shes da bestest character evar!" Sorry, I'm not bitter or anything, she's a good choice, I'm just not head over heels in love with her like so many others are here.
No idea, but he's sort of like Gonzo, in that I thought it would've happened a lot sooner. Not that I wanted that to happen, though. They just always seemed to be on thin ice.
If we're going into semantics, there is no game with that name, either. Odds are, this NX port is just an amalgam of those 2 games. Thus, it's still Smash 4.
Personally, I'm still convinced that the NX version was/is being worked on concurrently with this last bit of DLC; it could definitely explain why Nintendo picked Corrin as the "character who debuted after Smash 4" over the Inklings, despite them fitting that role far better. If that's the case, it's possible that the 3 people who were convinced we were getting Shovel Knight in Smash were right... Just not about the current incarnations.
I remember having an negative opinion on Beelzemon, but I can't remember why that is. Were they annoying or were they just really insistent on some goofy position?
Anyway, this necrobump is just kind of boring. Couldn't you have predicted something unexpected five years ago or something.
