RUMOUR: N-Revolution (UK) announce the Ship Dates of SSBB, Disaster and...Pilotwings!

The magazine N-Revolution announces this month the Ship Date of Super Smash Bros. Brawl in Europe: 30 May 2008.
At the same time, they announces the Ship Date of Disaster: Day of Crysis: 27 Juin 2008.
But the big surprise is that they pretend to know the Ship Date of a still unannounced game: Pilotwings: again the 27 Juin 2008.

Here's the original story thanks to Puissance-Nintendo (FR) and no, it's not a 1° April Joke:

Le magazine anglais N-Revolution fait le malin ce mois-ci et annonce connaitre la date de sortie de Super Smash Bros Brawl mais aussi de Disaster : Day of Crisis et de Pilotwings !

Le 30 mai est la date du jeu le plus attendu sur le Vieux Continent. Une jolie date, qui fait plaisir et comble soudainement le vide d'après WiiFit... Pour l'instant, tout le monde semblait parler d'une date en juin. A prendre avec des pincettes !

Le 27 juin sortira peut-être Disaster : Day of Crisis.

Discuss. Leaked info or crazy speculation? You decide!

I've seen that SSBB date before in many places so I guess that's pretty much confirmed. UNF UNF UNF :D

Disaster is so close to a release but all we've seen is some concept art and maybe 2 screenshots? That's odd, but I sure hope it to be true.

Pilotwings..? O_O I've spent hundreds of hours playing the PW on Snes and PW64 on N64, please be worth of your ancestors!

If all DLC came tied to $13 figurines, I'd consider all DLC to be free
i expect disaster doc at least in japan this june.... so ToS:KoR,Shiren3,Fatal Frame 4 (hopefully) and Disaster will show that the wii isn`t just a console for the casuals...

and ssbb in may would be awesome, short after mario kart and wiifit...hope this turns out to be true...

I'm going to take a guess and say that the new Pilotwings and new Kid Icarus are the big surprises for E3 this year.

This Pilotwingsdate is before E3 and either way, neither will be surprises now anyway. Especially not Kid Icarus.

Isn't pilotwings the sort of game that would be confirmed/shown at the mini-retailer-conferences Nintendo Japan likes to hold a few times a year? It's the "not big enough for E3, but with enough enthousiasm to headline a miniconference" kind of title, no?

I expect one of those soon, since they have to announce their Q3 dates, and maybe a new batch of wiiware titles.

Yeah, Pilot Wings seems like a small enough title for a mini-conference like the one next week.

As for Disaster, I wouldn't be surprised to see it released soon. It was announced and shown way back at E3 '06. It showed up in a retailer list (leaked by the member CubeRevolution, I think) for a May release in Europe. As for the lack of info so far: Nintendo's done a similar approach for Soma Bringer (which also happens to be a Monolith Soft game) in Japan. It's barely shown and then suddenly it shows up at a retailer conference and has almost weekly features in Famitsu up until its release.

Maybe they are refering to the date of the VC title hitting the service?

I'm so gettinga a new Pilotwings, but just don't play with my feelings. I need a confirmation now >_<

Really! I've started building a real plane because I can't wait for a new Pilotwings to appear.

WHY am I still looking forward to Disaster?

I have no clue, but I am.

Everything I know about it says I should hate it, but it's still one of my most anticipated titles. Gah.

Ha, that Pilotwings gotta be fake or VC... but if it isn't :D :D
Also, I'm interested in disaster, but I have no clue what kind of game it is.

This is pretty obviously bullshit.

I would not trust these dates. Smash is in June and Disaster in May, I thought.

You think Disaster is coming out next month? Man, step this way -- have I got a deal for you.

For Pilotwings, how do you go from the game not even being 100% confirmed to be in existence to having a just-a-few-months-away ship date?

Same would've been said about Soma Bringer.

It wouldn't be the first time for Nintendo.
I mean, how long between the time Soma Bringer got trademarked to release was it?
Like 5 months?
Or Starfox Command?

Really? They lie with their dates all the time, so perhaps you shouldn't be quite so credulous.

Still, at least we got it out that you personally believe Disaster: Day of Crisis will be seeing a release in Europe in one month's time. That should be interesting.

So Pilotwings is the secret Factor 5 game and the big game Nintendo is supposed to announce this year?

- Would fit the "flying" experience of the develloper.
- Would fit the "revive an old IP" comment from Nintendo.
- Could fit the "another hardcore gamer game like Mario Galaxy" comment from Nintendo.

BUT -- i don't really believe it.

It's more or less in two months ;D
And with which releasedates did they lie?

Didn't IGN say they were working on a Wii title with a third party? Or am I imagining things?

I guess what I find strange about all this is not the mention of dates or a new game, but their sudden addition without the slightest mention of them in the magazine? Surely if you had that kind of info...

There was even a press release for this, though Factor 5 was the developer of Pilotwings GCN.

Well, if this date is correct, then it would be end of June. That's almost 3 months.

But Shiggy says this date is not correct, because he firmly believes the game is coming out in May. That isn't three months.

Well, for instance, just about every date they give to press at media events is fictitious. From Smash Bros. Brawl to Professor Layton to Chibi Robo DS to New Super Mario Bros. to Metroid Prime 3...

The only date that was changed of those games is SSBB. It was to be released in Q4 2007 but then delayed. The other regions also saw a delay. For the other games there were no delays.

End of May would make it about 2 months then. It's not as sudden or impossible as you seem to imply.

Yes, there was. Please stop making stuff up! All of the games I mentioned had dates given out that later turned out to be false.

Hey, like I said, I don't believe Disaster is coming out in May. I'm just trying to figure out who else here actually does.

I see, I was talking about Nintendo of Europe.

Why shouldn't it? We don't have any releasedates for games in May or later. And what other games would be possible? We have seen even less of Animal Crossing, Kirby or Kuju's new game.

Kid? Is that the name of a project?
