Considering it was violently rejected by gamers like explosive diarrhea, it made no sense to keep it alive like some vegetable on life support. Cost of upkeep would outweigh it's benefit, not to mention perpetually branding themselves as complete fools keeping the failure front and center around their necks. Some shit just need to be buried deep for it's stench is too great.The worst thing they did was just shut it off. Could literally still drop it on PS+ if they wanted and let people play it. Some people bought physical copies and controllers. Just an absurd reaction honestly.
