That's ridiculous since it only came out at the end of 2012. Plus my moto g is slightly worse than that phone spec wise and runs really fast on android 4.4.Phone sounds nice. I'm still on a nexus 4. It's not aging well.
Quit freaking out everyone. It's going to be a 5.2" screen.
PhoneArena is completely unreliable and posts garbage every day. They have no sources, and they never fact check. A couple of weeks ago, they "confirmed" that it would have a 1080p screen and Snapdragon 801.
That said, more reliable sources have confirmed many of these specs -- specifically, the 805 processor and 2k screen.
However, the screen size was pegged at 5.2inches not 5.9.
EDIT: Beaten by Trouble.
I swear I've posted nearly this exact post before.Isn't it funny how cellphones started off huge (although more thick than in terms of screen size) then went through a trend of shrinking and now they're getting larger again

I thought 1080p was overkill, but 1440p is just crazy. I'd rather have better battery life and performance.

I can't believe no one has commented on the Moto S part. That's not even an announced phone, is it?
I would buy the N5 but I've heard it's battery life is just as shit as the N4, which is my biggest concern with the phone.
How is the nexus 5? I was thinking of waiting out for the nexus 6, but I'm not getting it if its that size.
Has AT&T ever gotten a Nexus phone? I can't remember. I'm up for a new phone this winter, I have the One X, but I'm not really interested in buying a phone off contract for full price. I always here good things about the Nexus line, and my Nexus 7 tablet is one most cherished device, so I wouldn't mind my phone being one too.
Nexus 5 is like the perfect size though, why go bigger?
My Note 2 has been great and I never want a smaller phone again. Once you've gotten use to 5.5 screen you'll never go back.
Even if the battery is decent with 1440p, it will be even better with 1080p, same with the performance. Basically everyone has said the difference between 1080p and 1440p is not really noticeable on a phone during regular use. Great for vr though.whynotboth.gif
But yeah, battery life is my only concern about the Nexus 6 at this point.
Nexus 5 is a great phone, still runs as well as you'd expect a quality phone to. However, keep in mind these are only rumors, and this thread has shown there are conflicting reports to say the least. I would definitely wait it out at least a little longer before pulling the trigger on anything. Samsung and Motorola are just about to announce new things too.
Why is everyone losing there shit at a 5.9 inch phone? A note 3 is 5.7 and I see that phone recommended all the time on here. Add .2 inches and all of sudden it's a iPad size phone that's way too big.
too fucking big
why
It may be a false news. Look at post #111.
I can understand that, but it's not freakishly big as people seem to think.Phablets are not for everyone. Even 5.5 is too big for majority of people.

More reasonable. Still too big for me.
Those are the dimensions of my Galaxy Nexus:
135.5 mm (5.33 in) H
67.94 mm (2.675 in) W
8.94 mm (0.352 in) D
Slightly too big. If I have it in my pocket, I cannot sit down.
Yeah the Gnex is kinda small. As someone who has an old Gal Nexus sitting on the shelf, lol if you cannot sit down with it in your pockets. Jesus Christ man.
Really? What's the problem?
