If this Russian retreat is a trap, they are gonna drop a nuke . Because this looks to be to good to be true , the Russian army is the laughing stock of the world .

Those old ass crappy Lada-made Fiat copies everyone seems to be driving there were already old when I was a kid in the late seventies, SMH.
It was perfect from the beginning ;)

Why is too good to be true, though? Ukraine has the force, weaponry, and strategic capabilities of NATO backing them up. As soon as it became apparent how poor the Russian army was from the start of the war, this kind of thing was inevitable.

The speed of the collapse of the Russian forces in this offensive must be starting to make the Ukrainians think they genuinely have a chance of retaking Crimea, if they can force the Orcs out of the rest of the country - which looks increasingly likely from what’s happening now. And what a defeat that would be for Putin. Absolute ignominy.

Kherson needs to be liberated first. Melitopol is not needed, but sort of.

Before the offensive happened, the zaporizhia front was probed too... I suspect just like kherson zaporizhia is heavily fortified by the invaders.

So they take kharkiv which is not without merit as the stated goal of taking all of the donbas will be very hard now.

(NSFW) Here's a clearer video of that spectacular obliteration of a ruzzian tank a couple of days ago. We've seen quite a few turret-toss videos lately, but have you seen a tank commander fly like this (you can see him partly out the hatch before he became a cosmonaut) ... Holy crap...

Yes.. Not to mention the cultural link was already dying back when puppet president Yanukovych sold Ukraine to ruzzia for a penny instead of making cultural links to Europe like (especially) the young Ukrainians clearly wanted back then.

Pretty much this. Time has also shown how high on ruZZian propaganda orcs themself have been on. They seemed to believe the lies they themself told.

Man, to think for most of this week propaganda/useful idiots on Twitter kept repeating that Ukrainians self encircled and were about to be massacred…

So much nonsense in this thread from same posters who only quote Ukrainian propaganda sites. Is this thread even valuable?

Here are a few truthbombs to chew on.

1. Ukraine can't take back shit. Right now they are getting kicked out of their most fortified positions in Donbass and losing 500-1000 men per day. They cannot hold territory or frontline. And people here are talking as if Ukraine has already won everything back and ask about invading Russia as a serious question. In what universe are you living in?

Here is a serious question: when do you think Zalyzhnyy upends Zelensky, which parts of Ukraine will Russia annex in addition to what they have ( Dnipro, Kharkiv, Odessa?) and which parts will be sold to Poland?

2. Kherson bridge is standing and has a backup built right next to it. Russia moved thousands of troops there for defense and potential strike at Mykolaiv if Ukraine does another stupid artillery rotation.

This offensive has been spoken about for months - you think Russia wasn't preparing? It's be the stupidest plan ever. I'd rather believe Ukrainians find another region to strike, preferably the one that doesn't include shelling a nuclear power plant.

3. The only success Ukraine is having is spinning losses into media wins by manipulating the info space. Case-in-point: Russia bombing it's own cities (and mining Donetsk???) or Zaporizhya power plant (?). What doesn't stand to scrutiny to anyone with half a brain is actually taken seriously by many people.

My advice, get some perspective and stop eating one-sided nonsense from Kyiv independent and ISW. Take no facts from Russia or Ukrainian command declarations either, although they probably say truth about strike areas and take ownership of major successes. Otherwise this thread is just political propaganda spewing nonsense.

Last time I was here people told me that it's over and Russia will lose at Severodonetsk. I'm sure same goalpost moving armchair generals will come out of woodworks now to say it's over at Kherson. And when Russia takes Sloviansk they will keep saying the same.

They are not dropping a nuke in a region 30km from their own border with major cities like Bryansk and belgorod which funny enough used to be Ukrainian. This isn't call of duty. This is a mass evacuation of the entire oblast because they're scared shitless. I wouldn't put it past the Ukrainians pushing into part of Luhansk soon enough.

Here's the thing though. The Russians best soldiers who are in Ukraine are in Kherson. You want to keep chipping away at them in unfavorable territory. Keep them there, make them suffer then do what they did in kharkiv but this time take Melitopol, Mariupol, berdyansk etc and cut off Crimea. These boys are basically trapped at this stage and are literally fucked. You don't want their best soldiers losing Kherson and then falling back to Melitopol, Mariupol, Crimea etc.

Even taking Donetsk while they're tied up in Kherson would be better. In fact Ukraine might be happy to leave Kherson till last if it means they can take the rest.

Maybe their space program wasn't cancelled after all?

I've always wondered why Russian military documents are still so shitty. I have a collection of military and internal passports I've picked up over the years and that Lt. Col's ID looks the same as one nearly a century old.

I don't want to get overly excited but looks like Russians could lose Kharkiv altogether and apparently Ukraine are wasting no time assaulting Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts. If the force that stormed kharkiv takes on Luhansk and Donetsk we could see some major progress.

The speed this is unfolding is like a rushed summer blockbuster ending where the big huge enemy ufo gets infected by a germ or gets a giant balloon stuck inside and then suddenly the whole mothership crashes in half a minute and as that happens all the minions spontaneously combust, roll credits

That gets very close to Abu Hajar territory of comedy misunderstandings ending in tragedy but in the end it all worked out.

I wonder how many of these groups are now zooming around Russian held territories. Five humvees, 25 guys with some Stingers, Javelins and Starlink phones to just shoot up everyting with a Z on it. Grab fuel from Russian supplies if you get low and go all Rough Riders.

So why are the Rusians struggling so badly in this war?. They have more men and more equipment dont they?. Havent been followin the war past few months, mainly due to the media seemingly losing interest the last few months.
Also anyone think if its gets too bad for Russia, Putin will drop a nuke on some part of Ukraine he doesnt care about?. I mean if it worked with a proudful people like the Japanese, it would surely work here.

Outgunned, out trained, outperformed.

There will be no nukes.
