Eh, the battle system wasn't even all that hard, it's just that the manual gave you no clue about what was happening.

Another good thing about mechs - they are the only characters worth anything during the horrible Grail Card Quest.

T-260 G became an absolute monster when I played his quest. He was even more fun than my highly lethal Light Swordsman Lute and the awesome Alkaiser with Re-Al Phoenix.
