Saint Seiya Announced for PS3 | Melee Action Game [Update: Gameplay Videos]

So, whenever the Euro version does get a date, is there anywhere that's good for preordering imports? I highly doubt this'll ever come to the states, and I have no problem day 1ing for Seiya

if you don't like musou games then yea pretty much:/

I like them depending on the series, like Hokuto was great and I can't to try Dynasty Warrior Gundam 3

i like the genre
or more specifically sangoku musou
but this just pales in comparison
all the enemies look exactly the same
and the environments..
at least they're finally showing something new with ikki
so maybe there's hope

That's what I thought, the music made the series even better.
 
Stupid question, ladies and gents.

I want to watch this series. I vaguely remember it from my childhood.

How can I go about this, and is there anything I should avoid?

The Japanese version WILL have music from the anime, as well as "original" tracks. The PAL release, however, will not.
 
I really hope they put the attack shouts in... Like in Hokotu no Ken Mussou...
I also hope the euro release gets french VA, I'm not french, but back in the day Club dorothé was the only place we Belgian kids could watch anime.

Although Pegasus Ryû Sei Ken would also be more than fine,
better than not shouting anything...

I also love the engrish kind of shouts: Scarlet Needela!!!
 
It looks ok-ish, like an old 3D tv show.

But, as much as I'd want this to be good, it seems like you are fighting the dumbest enemies ever in slow motion (with some added cutscenes in between) and that could get old really fast.

The ESRB rating is probably shopped, I can tell by looking at the pixels and having seen quite a few shops in my time.
I am guessing this retailer is importing the European version/SKU.

I honestly had a bit of hope for this to happen, I believe France and Mexico are the biggest Saint Seiya markets after Japan.

I am happy! :)

Brazil's fanbase probably rivals Mexico's.
 
Just pre-ordered this.
Expensive, but I would probably spend the same if I imported (and wait MUCH longer to get it).

No special edition available, though :(
 
The golden box is more awesome, but the shirt that comes with it is thousand times worst because it looks like just a generic chubby angel and pass all the wrong messages .... so wich version ? xD

i would have been really shocked if this didnt come to at least mexico. all of my friends from mexico were huge on this series.
 
Sorry for the bump on this, but did any gaffers play this? I currently have the European version sitting in my cart on Amazon for $70 but wanted to get some impressions/reviews first.
