above average? i haven't read many of these comic books but surely they have a better batting average than the MCU. 3 good films. a few middling ones. and a few garbage ones.

I hope they let Chris Evans stay Cap in the movies. Even if Cap retires after Avengers 3, just DON'T kill him of please (the let's him make cameos in future movies). They don't HAVE to follow the movies, right? And here everyone thought Sebastian Stan was going to take over the role, poor him. Evans is halfway through his contract, and since he's my favorite actor, once he leaves the role I won't have any interest in the Marvel films anymore

Bucky was Cap for a while in the comics. It's been a few years, and now it's another superhero's turn to wear the shield for a year or so.

Nope. Marvel Turned Tony and anyone that supported hero registration into mustache swirling villains.
Despite Marvel promising readers that both sides of the conflict would be fairly represented. But that would take actually good writing and planning so it was just easier to turned Tony into a villain. Like they tried to do to Cyclops and his crew during Avengers vs X-men.

Superboy actually turned out to be an awesome character. His 100 issue series is really, really good. He was also a big part of Peter David's Young Justice.
Steve won't be gone all that long.
