Talking about colour coded bullets. Only certain colour ones are parry - able, in this case, shield friendly.Bullet hell was invented decades before Doom and HM played a huge part in 3D rendition of the concept.

But can we pinpoint when?
huh? Just looking at those pictures, the pro version is a lot cleaner without those nasty ass upscaling artifacts, particles especially looks sharp af, while the base ps5 version is an artifacting mess as expected from the early footagePS5 version seems pretty good this time with good resolution and clarity.
Pro doesn't bring a lot more compared to Returnal where the Pro version looked so much better.
Lot less reviewsWhy is opencritic higher than the Metacritic? Usually there's no more than 1 point difference between them.
Well, both say 86 reviews in the OP. Anyways, HouseMarque will get to live, 88 is still great for this kinda game.Lot less reviews
Opencritic has less reviews and it doesn't weight its reviews the same sway metacritic does. Why is opencritic higher than the Metacritic? Usually there's no more than 1 point difference between them.
88 is more than great for any kind of game reallyWell, both say 86 reviews in the OP. Anyways, HouseMarque will get to live, 88 is still great for this kinda game.
Of course. But Returnal on PS5 was visually very poor and blurry. Here the game has actually a higher native resolution (1220p or so) on PS5 than Returnal static 1080p. It's worse than PS5 Pro (which has super sharp PSSR2 this time at native 1440p), but I'd say visually the gap is smaller than Returnal PS5 / Pro sharpness gap. Returnal was really horrific on PS5 with 2 upscalings (1080p -> 1440p -> 2160p):huh? If you click on the OpenCritic link in my OP, there are around 40 reviews up right now. It'll take some time for more reviews to be added and for the score to settle. Metacritic is much faster at adding scores and reviews, but they don't have an easy export feature for forums like GAF the same way OpenCritic does.Well, both say 86 reviews in the OP. Yea, I see now, I misread the OP, I thought the 86 text was referring to Opencritic, then 86 reviews again for MC. Looks like Saros is now tied with Next Machina for Housemarque's highest score on Metacritic (it's not on the list yet though). So is this HouseMarque's highest reviewed game?
Whats up with IGN...lol!
I can't wait for this
Seems like they made 0 progress regarding thatCmon people play it and tell me if its roguelike system is better than returnal, I lost interest in returnal pretty fast after beating the last biome and finishing the story ... so definitely not worth full launch price.
I thought the whole point of these games is just play again in randomized levels if you enjoy the core loopSeems like they made 0 progress regarding thatThat was one of my biggest problems with returnal. Other than the excellent gameplay, there is no reason to play it after you finish the story here, just like returnal
Completely different games imo. I wouldnt call returnal or this a roguelike. Its more like an action gameDoes Risk of rain 2 still poop all over it?
This is 100% coming to PC btw.
Metacritic weights it's reviews. An IGN review is worth more than a Noisy pixel review. So if IGN gives a lower score than the rest of outlets, metacritic will drift from OpencriticWhy is opencritic higher than the Metacritic? Usually there's no more than 1 point difference between them.
Returnal sold around 200k on PC, maybe less. It's not coming to PC.This is 100% coming to PC btw.
Ratings in general aren't even credible anymore. The first review I open starts with 'Saros might not be perfect…' - and it still gets a perfect 100.Always funny to see people crying about IGN scores, as if the 10/10 scores are totally legit and OK!
