So every time I try to save an image in Internet Explorer lately, it wants to save it as an untitled.bmp. I didn't have this problem until just recently. Any ideas?

Same thing happened to me. Worst off, it would save .gif's as BMP's and you would lose the animation. I saved a cool .gif (that recreated the video for Radiohead's Just in smiley form, which, if anyone knows where I can find it I would appriciate it a lot), and now I don't know where to find it.

Didn't notice it for a while, it just magically fixed for me one day, probably the cache thing like you.
