If you ever visit the site, there is a large white X in the middle of the street to show where he was shot. When I went I was amazed how short the shooting distance was.
Wish I had time to go through these. Lots of it is CIA communications to do with Cuba and nothing to do with the assassination but it is a fascinating look into the CIA operations during their heyday.
Think some Cubans are gonna find out that their grandpa was actually a secret spy.
I did a quick rummage through some of the documents. Almost every single file that i opened was about how Cuban was fomenting and arming guerrilla movement in South and Central America. Communist meetings in Brazil, how Fidel and China was trying to arm Guerrillas in Venezuela and Brazil etc...
Some other interesting titbits where reports on USSR, East German/East Europe military readiness call and exercises, Sub transit into the Atlantic days after Kennedy's... CIA planting an informant via a third party firm somewhere. Basically it details that the company has to hire specific "guy", and the business will pay a salary of X to the guy and the CIA will pay the company X+5 for the company.
Some fascinating stuff, give some time and history buff will have a feast with that amount of content.
