2017 already off to a rough start
Hopefully Nier 2 and Sonic Mania still deliver.

Let's discuss ms 2017 line up tho
*crickets*
More stuff has been closed down or canceled under Spencer than Mattrick lol.
What makes you say that?I'm not particularly confident that Crackdown 3 will make it to market.
I was wondering where you were...
Or more reasonable just downgrade him one tier from savior status to hero of the working man.yeah let's go back to the guy who wanted the DRM box instead
Ah, here's what I was looking for

July 2015: "Those shits at MS...are they fucking with me?"
So, let's set a timeline HEAVY with speculation. Game was announced at E3 2014 without much notice. It skipped E3 2015, but showed up at Gamescom that year in August with an announcement of four-player co-op, which was shown off with a much rougher game in E3 2016's conference. The game was then cancelled soon after.
My guess is that, in July, Kamiya was told he had to rejigger the game into a four-player co-op thing. There were never any hints he wanted to make the game a Monster Hunter-like, but I am guessing people in charge of money were expecting him to do so. It gets announced, shown off, and the response is tepid. Changing tides at Microsoft, a desire to free up the UE4 team they put together to work with Kamiya, and being unhappy with the state of the game lead to it being cancelled.
If my guess is correct, that's really sad.
For goodness sake Phil.
I'm a massive Microsoft fan and I really wanted this.
I've had it pre-ordered for about 2 years - I've never done that before.
In situations like this I'd really appreciate it if we even got just a demo released to say "Yeah this is what we had."
Yeah, it really wasn't though. I was in the beta. Felt half assed and wasn't that fun.
Many of the games announced at E3 get cancelled or just go away. Its pretty common.
Fuck Microsoft.
Are they gonna cancel Cuphead next, just to really throw a middle finger up at everyone?
Yeah, people are loving this PR.
Dude it wasn't a funny joke. Like goddamn. ಠ_ಠyou should get one as well
The idea was alright but overboard, the dude is good
Below isn't MicrosoftActually now that I've thought of it.
Below also wasn't mentioned either.
Wonder if that is canned as well, or just still in development hell. Although I guess that isn't triple A.
I keep forgetting SoD2 is triple A but I just can't take it out of my mind that it's an indie game.
Maybe SoD2 will be bigger than I think.
I'd at least expect them to not treat their cancellation announcement for an incredibly anticipated game like an advertisement for other games.
"We've got a game for people who don't get Scalebound, it's called Halo Wars 2"
I actually think MS is throwing a signifant amount behind Scorpio and a lot new games will be released at launch or after, maybe not a lot but quite a few exclusives I think will appear in the scorpios first year.
Hopefully Jeff grills Phil at E3 2017 about this like he's done before

Damn, Turtles was so bad they don't even acknowledge it's existence
