I believe it's the emulated SNES version with a filter applied on top of of it.

The font is wildly different. It's like a variant on the GBA, or a romhack. Durante hasn't answered my PM on the subject, so it's a mystery to me(and most everywhere I've asked).

Sony PVM-14M2U (year 2002, 600 lines) vs. Panasonic BT-H1350Y (year 1991, 750 lines):
10731032_10100881992751360_5914624426005975071_n.jpg

It's... so... sparkly.

I wasn't really interested in a pro-CRT monitor as I'd finally gotten rid of my two old CRT TVs with my move, but I'm kind of turning around again. Something smaller like that would be neat to have.

I've seen other mini SLG screenshots, and the scanlines aren't supposed to be so thick. They're covering entire alternating lines of the 240p signal.
I was gonna say that looks like its only generating half the scanlines it should or something. The text should have at least 6 or 7 lines I imagine

How do you like it? It's probably my favorite board in my collection.

It is cool enough. I mean, kinda redundant with the stellar Saturn port but it is cool to play it on the original hardware (and also in the Blast).

Been enjoying Virtual Console today on the holiday. Specifically some MSX stuff which are presented so nicely. Here is Aleste via the framemeister.

Got my Dreamcast set up on SCART so I took a few shots of Street Fighter III

Holy shit. Beautiful. 2D Capcom > 3D Capcom.

I can't wait to get my Toro in the mail so I can play DC games in proper 240p and 480p via SCART. It's sure taking its time getting here.

Yea its only generating half of them from the looks of it.
Yeah I should get a Sony PVM, lol.

Stupid internet is taking forever to upload pics, so I´ll just do a few for now. Have been taking some pics for a couple of weeks, will upload them later.

Anyways, more Espgaluda II on a 31 kHz monitor. Looks stunning in person.

Looks stunning not in person as well. Damn.

Lmao I guess that did sound pretty bossy/maternal. Sorry about that! Also don't forget to take out the trash.

Bad news, I think the dirt or whatever is on the actual 3DS screen ..underneath the screen protector (I bought it used and that was pre-applied). I wiped my lens filter, the actual lens and the 3DS screen with a cleaning cloth but the dirt smudges are still in the exact same spots. :/

Really enjoying playing on the 14" PVM today. On a side note i'm only going to post pics of a game that i'm currently playing as not to spam the thread with numerous pictures.

Tonight I've been playing Link to the past and started Super Metroid on the SNES

Wow that looks gorgeous even in picture.

Ahh bummer, but cool on your for trying.

Bit quiet in this thread.

A shot of Street Fighter 3 Third Strike running in 240p on the Dreamcast. Monitor is a PVM.

LOZ:LA Virtual Console on 3DS XL. Hold Select and Start when booting for perfect scanlines that actually match up to those rendered when the game is played on a real Super Gameboy on an SDTV. This is the only way to get perfect looking 240p out of GBC games without a homebrew solution or sacrificing the color palette. Again, this highlights just how sad the Gameboy Player by not supporting 240p :(

Gotta force that 240p with the GameBoy Player dude. I just put in a xeno GC and boot swiss from a disc.

Yeah I know. How do I go about using swiss to play my GBA carts in 240p? If action replay is required, could you point me in the direction of one that will also allow me to unlock F-Zero AX from GX?

Nevermind, quick google search made that easy. I ordered an the SD card loader. I'll be joining the 240p GB Player club soon.

Edit... my order didn't go through. Datel's codebreaker site sucks. Oh well.

Just a fair warning. NES Earth Bound is a total slog. Definitely a cool game, but not very respectful of the gamer's time. It's similar to other NES JRPGs in that sense.

All one needs to do in that case is play the GBA version with Tomato's retranslation with the easy ring, which boosts EXP/money gain and reduces the encounter rate.

Internet in my home sucks, so I don´t contribute to this thread as much as I´d like. Here are some other pics, some are eerily similar to other posters contributions. All were taken on my Sony Wega I used in previous posts. 360 games are displayed in 480i as I have no method of downsampling 480p to 240p, been looking for an Emotia forever.

I had a save file that was before the end from years and years back...maybe back when this game was first released, but the saves didn't survive all of this time, so they're from the first act.
Those are really good. I made an avatar out of one, since it looked like it fit the size well.

Free for anyone.

Atomic Runner on my new BVM-14F5U via good ol' composite. Waiting on my RGB cables to show up next week.

I've gotta say, composite via the BKM-27T card looks reeaaally good on this display, almost S-Video like. Even on the notoriously lo-fi Sega Genesis.

Took more pics on my OG 3DS. Tried to get shots where the dirt spots under the screen protector don't show up. Again, apologies for when they do. Can't do nothing about it other than ripping off my screen protector solely for pics^^
