I'm actually quite surprised they're not supportive of this move. I thought it was a reflexive move to simply be happy about whatever Trump does because Trump is doing it.
I guess they're way more racist than they are Trump supporters.

This goes beyond Dreamers. It goes into the wall dividing Mexico from the US.

Trump accidently siding on the side of good, a couple of weeks after presenting a policy that was anti Dreamer is disturbing.
Maybe the best thing about all of this is that Trump has become so unreliable that both parties are so confused that nothing gets done. And the status quo is probably better then anything Trump could pass as law.

When Trump acts half normal and gets all quiet like for a few weeks, I almost forget we have an embarrassing fuck up for a president.

Just because this agreement doesn't include wall funding doesn't mean Trump has dropped it from his platform. He wants to have his cake and eat it to, claiming he did what Obama couldn't by getting DACA into law while still stirring up shit at his rallies with "Build the wall" chants.

Trumps a bit simple, if you explain things to him like that he's instantly convinced. The issue is, surely the Republicans will just whisper in his ear about how this is actually awful and he'll go 'oh no, I never supported it.' There's a president where his actual words don't matter.
