I honestly don't see Pegasus lasting. They'll either wind up dying in some daring attack or just go their seperate way. I never watched the original BSG, so I don't know how the whole Pegasus story worked out in that version.

It's a 2 parter that sees the Pegasus firing point blank on two base stars... big explosion, and then nothing... no proof that the Pegasus was destroyed.... or slipped away... it's never seen again in the series though.
