A hypothetical list was posted of 4 out of 5 players (FChamp, Yipes, JWong, ChrisG) by FChamp I believe.

JWong is a maybe for the tournament so that means 2 other players can be picked. It's not like USA is going to have difficulty filling up the roster...

I was hoping they would turn this into a money match. However seeing those two run into each other in tournament will still be amazing.

I don't think I'll be able to stream monster most of this because of stupid tests I have to study for next week, but I'll try to catch what I can.
 
Yeah I am honestly bewildered that people think CJ would beat Andre. This SHOULD be free for Andre especially if CJ plays Doom. Both are notorious for dropped combos but Andre has beaten killers, placed well in tournaments, makes better decisions mid-match and has done well in MMs (technically he won that MM against Unknown). CJ has no notable achievement to his belt.

I'm really hoping my inability to correctly predict any Marvel results comes into play here. Should be the highest level Marvel match we've seen so I'm hyped none the less (as long as neither sandbags that is).

Agreed. Andre gets a lot of crap every time he plays, but he has been pretty consistent in tournaments (more consistent than some other big name players). I will be surprised if Andre doesn't take it relatively easily.

That being said, after seeing CJ play a little bit more, he is not the fraud that I thought he was based on how he was being portrayed.

:( Well I can't say I'm shocked. I'm always surprised he stayed with Guile as long as he has. Still I loved watching his Guile. With out Die on Guile I will probably skip SFIV this weekend.

CJ is an OG with big mm experience under his belt. I didn't even know who the fuck Andre was until last year. This is fanatiq vs ray ray all over again. The savy old vet versus the new kid that's making waves.

Obviously neither is one the level of fanatiq or ray.
 
Og in what game? Andre was around in Sf4 days and also in the Vanilla Marvel days (he played a Mag/Ammy team). He also has decent mm experience especially in Marvel where it counts more.

To me in terms of skills and Marvel experience Andre has Cj outclassed.

Marvel 2. If cj falls behind he can get back, if Andre falls behind he's done. I've seen this scenario played out for 7 years now. Almost alway the same result.
 
I have never seen cj play Marvel 2. Honestly speaking the best thing cj has got going for him is that he was made Marvel 3 ready in fgtv.

Well one of us will belong on the wall of shame after this.

Why? Whoever guess wrong shouldn't have any shame because picking either one of these guy is like picking a coin flip. It's 50/50.

Champ vs Chris G is a better test to theory fighting if anything.
 
ChrisG vs FChamp is going to be fucking hype. I kinda don't like either one of them so I don't have a favorite lol. If I had to pick I think in an extended set ChrisG will take it, but it will be super close like 15-13 or something like that. Are the exhibitions on Friday?
 
Honestly speaking for me Fchamp vs Chrisg is more 50/50. They are both equally skilled players with a strong grasp on the fundamentals of the game. It's just more about who has more experience in longer sets which is where I give Fchamp advantage. This match is in no way going to be a blow out.

If I could rate the 4 players on a scale of 1-10 (10 being top 5 in the world and 1 being a scrub, 5 being an average tournament level Marvel player):

Fchamp: 10
ChrisG: 10
Andre: 7
Cj: 4

Note that I haven't seen Andre play since pre-Evo so he could be much worse now.
