Okay, I know this kinda thing probably doesn't interest many of you, but does anyone know what this is about? I've never seen a congressional vote so lively before (and I watch a lot of C-span, lol), it reminded me a bit of how shit goes down in the U.K.'s parliment. From what I gathered, there was a vote for some bill regarding energy policy, but the leadership didn't get enough votes to pass it, so they then (unfairly?) held the vote open untill they were able to strong-arm a few of thier collegues into changing thier votes. Is that kind of thing allowed?
