Which has nothing to do with the topic.
Obviously, always happened the same in Nintendo devices since Nintendo 64.Seems like most third-party developers will not support Switch 2
That's not a bad list but a lot of those are multi-gen games. Is MGS Delta even confirmed for Switch 2?game over op ahaha you must acept thirs

You must not have been around during Sony's swimmy PS1 warpy texture extravaganza.Every third party game is going to look like shit on the switch 2 so why bother buying it on that platform anyway 'cyberpunk having no NPC's'? Buy it on the series x, or ps5 if you got one and skip the switch 2 for anything third party wise.
There's a high probability that 50% or more of the games announced today won't release on Switch 2 at all. That's fine, what big third party games were revealed that won't come to Switch eventually?
It just launched.
After State of Play and Summer Game Fest, I can't barely remember how many third-party games get announced for Switch 2.

Yes they should have showed games for Switch 2 at the State of Play, Nintendoomed!!!!After State of Play and Summer Game Fest, I can't barely remember how many third-party games get announced for Switch 2. For everyone expecting a strong support for it, I think these are bad news.

Who buys Nintendo consoles for third party? After State of Play and Summer Game Fest, I can't barely remember how many third-party games get announced for Switch 2. For everyone expecting a strong support for it, I think these are bad news.
Switch 2 can't compete with current gen dude lol.Third party support will probably drop when the next gen arrives and the SW2 cant compete with that power.
However I think the lack of SW2 compatible games are probably because of the rushed release that has been rumored. Many devs just didnt had the dev kits tools to port their games in time. I think we will see a lot of announcement of "Switch 2 upgrade" in the following months.
The same was said about the first switch.Third party support will probably drop when the next gen arrives and the SW2 cant compete with that power.

Even Hello Games got dev kits in 2024 (devs confirmed on X). So I think this dev kits only got here super late is a bit of Nintendo like PR excuses. If Hello Games got the kits at that time bigger companies got them earlier. However I think the lack of SW2 compatible games are probably because of the rushed release that has been rumored. Haven't we just a couple weeks before read here that Nintendo kept basically everyone in the dark in terms of dev kits, dates and frameworks/drivers? I'm pretty sure that's the reason (if true)it's the fastest selling console in history
it took ps5 an entire month to do what the Switch 2 did in a single day
they'll be fine
Given some of the graphical leaps in some of those games, I'm not surprisedAfter State of Play and Summer Game Fest, I can't barely remember how many third-party games get announced for Switch 2. For everyone expecting a strong support for it, I think these are bad news.
I don't think anyone should expect ''Floodgates will open'', that was the same speculation that Switch got regarding third parties which never came close to happening. It's no secret that Nintendo are very selective with who gets their dev kits, and much like the Switch 1 and the Wii-U before that, hardly anyone got one...
Those who did worked on very specific titles and exclusive things in close partnership with Nintendo.
It's just the way they operate, it's a strange company that follows Japanese traditional values more than anything else, which if you have lived here any length of time you will understand thoroughly.
The console sold extremely well, so there will be a lot of games come to it eventually
Cyberpunk 2077 was a launch gameI think it has to do something with the image Switch/Nintendo has in Japan and elsewhere. It seems that the image Switch/Nintendo has in Japan is that its for casuals and families, which means that more niche core gamer stuff like Code Vein is going to PC/Xbox/PS while Nintendo instead get stuff like Tamagotchi Plaza, a game catering to casual gamers.
True, but Cyberpunk and Elden Ring coming to Switch 2 seems more because of Nintendo's initiative to reach out to those developers, over them deciding by themselves to port those games over to Switch 2 with no influence from Nintendo. The same way the Skyrim port to the original Switch happened. Those kind of Nintendo influenced launch games won't show the general trend though, after Skyrim few of those kind of games came to Switch, probably will be the same with Elden Ring and Cyberpunk on Switch 2.Cyberpunk 2077 was a launch game
No dude, your analysis is like someone who is stuck with the Wii generation would say, I tried to point out with a very recent and basic example. There are more 18+ uncensored games on the Switch than on PS for reference, so much for being for families.True, but Cyberpunk and Elden Ring coming to Switch 2 seems more because of Nintendo's initiative to reach out to those developers, over them deciding by themselves to port those games over to Switch 2 with no influence from Nintendo.
