Sekiro makes me feel like a worthless Asshole who desrves to die.

Nioh is waaay freaking harder than Sekiro. Try that crap. lol

I'm curious, did you do the Nioh DLC and different levels of New Game+? (Way of the Strong, Demon, Wise, Nioh)

While I agree Nioh can be pretty hard in places, I feel like the standard playthrough was much easier than most souls games and as long as you equip gear at the recommended level you'll be fine. After that, gear starts having a bigger and bigger effect on the difficulty, to the point where I would say it becomes difficult to compare the difficulties. I played up to completing all missions on Way of the Demon (required to get one of the DLC trophies so the damn thing would say 100%), and at that point I felt that with a good build you could blaze through everything and with a bad one you had literally no chance. Much more like running high level rifts in Diablo 3. In Sekiro there's generally little help to get if your skills aren't up to par.

Nioh definitely has more lethal enemies than most souls game though, and some of the challenge mission can feel like pure bullshit (looking at you, "A Meeting on the Other Shore", fkin assholes). So in that sense, I can understand why some find it harder.

Anyway, it's an individual thing so it's not like I think you (or anyone else) are wrong. Also if anyone is this discussion played Nioh 2, how is it compared to 1 in terms of difficulty?

I managed to kill it finally but now I'm stuck on the last boss :/ this game just gives 0 fucks.

He's a doozy. But if you got this far, so you have all the skills and tools to do it! Don't give up now, we are all rooting for you!
(unless you're literally not having any fun, don't punish yourself)

I gave up there. I didn't make many attempts, simply it was clear to me my skills were not enough to beat that boss. I never saw that so clearly, so I quit the game with no regrets.
