"Sellout"Joe Rogan apologizes for spreading conspiracy theories

So I looked into this for over 4 minutes and this is definitely Joe selling out and being forced to kowtow. I mean he literally sold out. But now he can't just say the dumb stuff that springs to his mind, which is what I thought he was all about. I predict he will have to watch what he is saying now and censor himself in advance... so less spontaneity and less fun.

Seeing people on the internet congratulate him for falling in line is slightly sickening.

The main problem with this whole situation is:

A. Joe was mostly right. There are many reported arsons in Oregon and Washington, but only one could be directly attributed to a BLM/Antifa supporter.
B. Looking to Jamie for fact checking is comical. The dude gets stories wrong all of the time, or intentionally feeds Joe biased/misinformation.

Why shaming someone for making a mistake and recognizing it? wasn't he right in making the correction ?
So he was right before but after "looking into it" he retracted? :pie_thinking:

The dude used to think the moon landing was a hoax, if anything, i see him backpedaling on the shit he says sometimes a good quality...as long as he is being truthful of course.

Considering his gormless responses to Maynard in his interview of him I'm not really impressed upon by his utterances.

He was right at first. The fact that the arson isn't "coordinated" has somehow changed the narrative to "there are no arsonists". Joe is a fucking idiot for ever apologizing because now he is admitting to these cunts that he did something wrong even when he didn't. Media Matters is now trying to get him banned post apology. 13 people have been arrested and named. How many started fires and were not arrested? How is this arson story "debunked"?

Thing is, now that he apologized for something he usually does (talking conspiracy shit) for the first time, they will want him to do that again and again.

I am really wondering how this will turn out over the next few months.
At the moment it seems going to Spotify and changing his studio setup so much wasn't maybe the right move.
