Schizo simulator cool
Stella Blade did that, just broke it up in a few videos.Bruh, you're getting shit on for poor marketing and you release a 20 minute video of dev commentary.
Again.

And a demo way before release. It's not even the same comparison.Lol no. They took every chance they could get to show off Eve's assets.
I know everyone knows I dislike PS this gen, but honestly they didn't show a ton. Most trailers were quick cuts with barely more than 3 seconds consecutively showing the finishers. And then the dev talk videos. Maybe I forgot some, but yeah it wasn't that much different. They did have that dance video though, and I don't see Senua pulling that off. But you never know with psychosis.Lol no. They took every chance they could get to show off Eve's assets.
Not gonna watch any marketing this close to release.
Well Senua doesn't have any assets so....Lol no. They took every chance they could get to show off Eve's assets.
....and that bitch is crazy.Well Senua doesn't have any assets so....
Not really. Watch the documentary on the 1st one. It was made with multiple schizophrenic patients periodically reviewing their work and explaining how validated they felt that people could see some of their experiences. Cambridge mental health specialists also consulted and tried to get it as accurate as possible. Most of the patients were telling them to not back down and keep going further, because some of their visions were so dark and disturbing. You see some of that in the late game levels. In school we had to see a video showcasing schizophrenia and the audio that specialists could construct to simulate what patients tell them is exactly the same as the Hellblade headphone audio."Psychosis" mechanic as actual psychosis and some kind of videogame power up is the most fucked up thing I have ever seen in a while lmao

With no new footage whatsoever.Bruh, you're getting shit on for poor marketing and you release a 20 minute video of dev commentary.
Again.
Sure, now picture a schizophrenic viking several hundred years ago without access to seroquel. I'm sure they existed.Mental illness is not aspirational and most definitely not a super-power!
Pushing it forward as a key part of the marketing message is not only tacky, but it makes no sense even as a virtue signal because people suffering from such conditions are often a hazard to themselves or others around them.
When an individual suffers from a distortion of/ break with reality its about more than their personal struggle. It has real-world effects and consequences.
Looks incredible even in compressed YT videos.

Winner moves from MS all around.
I have to assume they're trying to just avoid spoilers. If it's an 8 hour game with not much filler, maybe they just aren't trying to spoil it. Who knows.Post one short 20 second clips similar to that epic troll footage they showed off years ago and they'll have already done better marketing for the game than they have throughout the entire year.
Assuming anything like that even exists in the game now.

Never claimed to, because I found the pitch/premise to be a turn-off for the reasons I've described.Tell us you never played the first game without telling us you never played the first game.
Yeah, maybe. I mean I'm an atheist so when I hear about people seeing burning bushes and other visions it makes me think of mental illness. Joan of Arc comes to mind, and that's kind of how she was portrayed in The Messenger. Some prophets were pretty influential. Some were persecuted obviously. It's an interesting topic. I think the game is trying to do something new, so I'm into it. Not usually my style of game but the first one was enjoyable after I got used to it.Sure, but I'd imagine that in 99.9% of cases they died either directly or indirectly as a result of their condition becoming manifest.
I mean, its not like life was easier back when even infections and diseases that are easily treatable today could (and did) kill. Or that back then they were so enlightened that anyone who "saw the other world" was treated like a Shaman or other visionary! You know back when Trepanning was a progressive treatment, cutting a hole in the skull to let the evil spirits afflicting people out!
I dont think any of the reviewers or anyone thought the first game did that. Sounds like fake outrage culture 2024.Never claimed to, because I found the pitch/premise to be a turn-off for the reasons I've described.
Its fetishizing mental illness for cultural brownie-points.

Yeah, they start off saying the video contains story spoilers… in a story focused game… Like, why even do this? Should've just gone with some cool action scenes and teasers of Senua looking afraid when looking at something off screen that they never show. Not gonna watch any marketing this close to release.

Literally no one said that when the original released on the PS4. It was almost universally praised.
They just could of shut they're mouths! What the fuck is pychosis
Always a doozy of a misspelling for people. Same shit with rogue/rouge
And a demo 1 month before launch, that was by mistake made playable 2 months before launch. Hard to do better IMHO.Stella Blade did that, just broke it up in a few videos.
