I hear you. I'm trying to pull back. I may wait for the 360 Burnout so I enjoy it more. I think just Ninja Gaiden and X-Men for me on launch day. Though I want Katamari and Capcom Classics pretty bad.

NG Black for sure for me. Perhaps I'll get Indigo Prophecy as well, but it's likely I'll rent it instead.

Just Katamari, for me. I'm saving Burnout and a couple other Fall releases so my family will have something to get me for Xmas :)

They always bitch about me just buying everything I want for myself.

OH yeah I missed that box art, heh. I want Capcom Classics collection too.

I'm buying the PS2 version now so I know for certain it'll be playable again down the road.

september is nothing. wait till october and november. may god have mercy on our souls.
This man speaks the truth. I'm using September to burn through my backlog and snatch a few older titles up while they're nice and cheap.

Is anyone here actually buying Madden PSP? People are calling it a killer app, but I'm not so sure. Most football fans will already have one of the versions, and while having it portably is great, will many actually buy 2 copies of the same game??

I'm not a big football fan so I never buy console football games, however, if I owned a PSP i'd get madden for it. :)

Did Zeo hack your account?

I'd buy Spidey for the XBox in a heartbeat if I could be certain it is backwards compatible.

The PS2 version will be. :D

xbox goty.

Ripoff. I was actually hoping for a black ninja or something. And he would have to face patrick duffy. That would be a game worth buying.

For me, I'm only getting these for September:

Counter-Strike: Source Retail (I'm mainly getting it for DoD: Source and the seperate CD Keys. I really do hope that there are seperate CD Keys for Counter-Strike: Source and Day of Defeat: Source, so I can give my friend the CS: S CD key and keep the DoD: S CD Key.)

World of Warcraft 60 - Day Subscription Card:

Other than that, I won't be getting anything else. I'll wait for X-Men Legends 2 and Ultimate Spiderman to drop down in price before I get those games on my GCN or PS2.

Can't wait for Ninja Gaiden Black.

I'll be buying a lot of other games, but luckily there's a decent amount of >$50 games that I want: Ninja Gaiden Black, Capcom Classics, We Love Katamari and Midway Treasures 3 are all $30 or cheaper.

you know....probably not. I thought Legends and Madden would be a lock to get me to upgrade, but really nothing on the horizon is. Madden was sort of "meh" on console after a week and I'm afraid I'd feel the same way with a downgraded portable.

Jesus, right now I'm thinking I'd rather have about 4 more Xbox games than the PSP. September is crazier than I thought. And Battalion Wars looks ok.

And you missed quite a few other good games too. For me, uh, if my wallet allows obviously:

I don't really care about Madden on PSP and I'll be getting Burnout on 360, because I'm sure it will be better. Unless of course I give in early, then I'll be getting it on Xbox for the same reason as X-Men Legends 2: Xbox Live > PS2 Online.

As far as sheer number of titles, it definitely is worse than last fall for me.

There are plenty of do-withouts, but a lot of gotta-haves too.

I can't even decide which games I've gotta have, and which games I gotta be without. I can't afford all I definitely want, it's pretty much impossible. Some gonna have to wait for bargain bins. I'm getting at least...

Shadow of the Colossus
Burnout Revenge
We Love Katamari
Sly 3
Fire Emblem (GC)
Digital Devil Saga 2
Ultimate Spider-Man
X-Men Legends II

And hopefully Soul Calibur III + GTA:LCS + some DS games

If I can fit it in. If. Money is already tight, and this is without "next-gen"

Is Ninja Gaiden Black a completely new game, or is it only a Ninja Gaiden rehash with extras?
It's the same Ninja Gaiden that came out earlier on the Xbox but now it has the Hurricane Packs already installed and now has a new Ninja Dog difficulty which is easier than normal and another difficulty setting which is the highest difficulty yet. I can't wait for NG Black. I've got mine preordered at Gamestop. I wonder when they'll get the t-shirts in.

Ugh. I really want Burnout Legends, but I haven't spent $50 on a PSP game yet and I don't want to. Here's hoping that Best Buy will have it on sale for $40 a couple weeks after release like they did with some of the other $50 titles..

I really REALLY hope Ultimate Spider-Man plays much better than Spider-Man 2 did...

Jeez, I'm hoping it plays just like it but.. more. Spider-Man 2 is probably one of the best comic games ever.

The only definite buys are:

Burnout Revenge
Burnout Legends
Indigo Prophecy
Ultimate Spider-Man
Ninja Gaiden Black
Worms 4: Mayhem ($20, can't pass it up)

plus there are soooo many other things I plan on renting: X-Men, Total Overdose, Medievil, FarCry.....the list goes on and on

This is the exact reason why I will not be participating in anything "next gen" until around the end of 2006. ^^

Once 2006 rolls around, I'm getting this shit in the bargain bin. But then there's the stuff that I've missed from previous years that I was waiting to go into the bin! :lol Not to mention 2006 titles likes FFXII, Okami, KHII;etc.

EVIL! -_-
This is what I like to here. Down with next gen hype/nonsense. Heres to good GAMES not consoles.

Lots of purchases in that batch. Still, there's no way I'm going to get burnout for both console and PSP... sorry PSP you lose out on priority. Same goes for Madden unless there's something really compelling about it over the console version.

No chance. It'll all be tied to a single Steam account. They'll probably have seperate CS:S retail keys made that'll tell the server "hey, give this guy DoD:S and HL2:DM as well".
