What can I say DiscoJon? You did call it. Never mind that you show up in IRC at about 4am Central wondering why nobody's awake - you spend that time predicting futures!
I guess. Like it's kind of cool that guys will get promoted for killing you, but is it really a big deal that an orc who kills you can get a random name generated for it with a personality attached to it and random preset strengths and weaknesses? The Orcs almost always move laterally, it's no different than 'skipping a turn' in a strategy game like Civ as to how they move, and I'm supposed to think that's a big deal? It's cool that they move about the world and can run into you while you're doing something else. I definitely give them that, but it's not this super intelligent thing that other people seem to think it is.
And the combat is EXACTLY Batman. Like if they weren't both under WB, I'd sue over that shit. Which I've always found that combat system to be all flash and no substance. The only reason I like the Batman game(the first one) so much was the story, voice acting, characters, and the atmosphere. And the heart rate tracker. This game is just brown and green the game. Do you like Elf ruins and Orc strongholds? Well, great. Because that's all there is.
The idea of the Nemesis system being a game changer just reminds me of all the LA Noire facial recognition stuff and how everyone was on the hype train for that and was like, 'games will never be the same!' Yes they will. All this does is make the game seem even more circular and a never-ending grind because of new guys ascending. But for what, for runes? Is that supposed to encourage you to want to keep fighting these SAME types of enemies for 99% of the game? Even Ubisoft's collectathons had an ending with some small reward that felt significant enough to be worth it to the hardcore people who wanted to do it. This just feels neverending for the sake of being neverending. Remember how Skyrim had those randomly generated messenger quests that you eventually ignored because you knew it wouldn't be worth it? That's this. This game is as 7/10 as you can get from everything I've played. If you like games like Just Cause 2 or the original Mercenaries that feel aimless, it's probably something you enjoyed. But I like a world that feels like it's existing as a world rather than just a playground to keep filling bars with. The only reason I put up with it in ACs is because of the settings.
My main issue is still the issue I've always had though. I find the Tolkien lore makes for very boring video games, but I needed something to play until November since nothing's coming out until then.

This is the show when the nWo really became the nWo. This is the episode where Hall and Nash attacked back stage and sent the whole show into chaos. Arn, the American Males, and Rey Jr. were all attacked. The 6 man tag stopped when Jimmy Hart ran out screaming for help. The attack itself only lasted for about 45 seconds, but the aftermath went on for 20 minutes. The faces, the heels, all standing in the back as ambulance/fire/police all arrive. Woman cradling Arn and screaming for help. Benoit crying over both of them. Rey saying there were 4 men. EMTs taking his mask off. Flair being legit shook. The announcers being legit shook. Hour two starting with Brain SHOOTING, saying he has a bad neck and nerve damage and this shit isn't worth risking his health over and walking off. It's to this day probably still the best angle of this type ever on a wrestling show. It's actually stunning that WCW was ever able to pull something that excellent off.
And then, the first paid nWo promo aired. The logo debuted. The music debuted. The completely different promo style debuted.
For obvious reasons, the whole card after the 6 man had to be changed. Originally scheduled were Rey vs Eddie, American Males vs Steiners, and Giant vs Arn. Rick Steiner in particular was extremely distressed and distracted over the whole thing. Arn and Buff were loaded into the same ambulance, with Flair and Sting joining them. It was an extremely well done angle by everyone involved.
The greatest angle of all time.

Dude made a thread about the Xbox One launch in China with pictures showing nobody giving a fuck or being there.
Trick is, it hadn't launched yet, so he was taking photos of a setup that wasn't open or for sale yet and pretending like people didn't care. Got a one month ban, that's all.
Just ridiculous. Some other dudes from China were like "uh it hasnt launched yet" and from there, it was on.

Eh, it is what it is. They were never really equipped to spit out DVDs fast with the print quality they were doing. They were having them professionally printed/authored/pressed/etc, not like other distributors where it's a DVD-R and seeya bye.
...fucking really? Good lord. This console war stuff is dumb. The only reason I don't have all the consoles is straight money. I'd punch out my father to play Killer Instinct again, that shit was choice when I played it at the pre-release stuff in Philly
