IIRC the company hinted at doing it but wouldn't confirm.

The PS2 controllers work perfectly with the Xbox SF Anniversary Collection using a PS2 controller adaptor though...I can definitely confirm that!

The pad fucking sucks, I've had it a month and the Dpad is already starting to wear out. And the square picture on the square button has almost faded off completely.

Damn dude, you play too hard. :lol I've had two of them since release and both get used farily often with no problems. Felt like a good purchase for the price.
