Shadow the Hedgehog fails to live up to its pedigree due to terrible controls, an uncooperative camera, and an overall lack of effort.

The Good: Good music; several paths to take through the game.
The Bad: Terrible controls; awful camera placement and control; underwhelming visuals; frustrating level design; no target lock makes shooting completely useless.

TOO BAD REALLY

Wow, I was expecting GS to rate much lower since IGN gave it a 4.9. Oh, well, this'll do anyhow. :)

And to think that i really liked Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, Shadow...you used to be cool.

Mariaaaaa

You liked that game? I couldn't believe that I spent $50 on it when it released. GameCube's lineup in Spring 2002 sucked.

So...basically it's SA:2 all over again.

You'd think by now Sega would have at least learned how to make a better camera. :lol

Yeah i bought it because at the moment i only had a Gamecube. And i had all the decent games for it at the time being. I really played and enjoyed it plenty in multiplayer.. +60' hours on the timer.

White forest is such a cool run in MP :D

Not even close. SA2 had a bad camera at times but Sonic and Shadows levels were awesome, especially Final Rush which is one of the most replayable platform levels in any game. But Shadow is a mess of a game, the bad camera is the least of its problems.
