Id watch a whole ep like that unironicallyHoly shit the recreation of the Incredible Hulk intro was perfect.
They did a little of it with Edward Norton and used the Lonely Man theme in his movie, but that intro was perfectly recreated.
That was a perfect adaptation of John Byrne‘s She-Hulk and possibly the most comic accurate MCU adaptation yet in terms of the tone.Id watch a whole ep like that unironically
So the cat-calling thing and trivializing Bruce past hardships and being an arrogant little shit wasn't any part of character development. It was the retarded woke writers sticking it to men.
Do you know how retarded is to create a hero character with base hardships such as a few cat-callings and "mansplaining" and then equalize her to the whole shit Bruce lived? No, you just didn't understand the scene. That was her unintentionally showing she didn't have full control of her anger, while she thought she did because she had a lot to be angry about ya know since that stuff actually happens. That's why she turns into hulk when she was saying that stuff. We later see she does indeed lose her control when pushed far enough. Whole shows been about retaliating every facet of her life with this hulk journey. In the end she refuses to hulk out against the dude who spread revenge porn on her.
Are your arm-pits hairs grown and purple tainted, just like the people who give this kind of takes in resetera? If your manhood got offended
They didn't equalize her. They wrote a character who was speaking from her perspective. Did you want her to say "Bruce I've personally experienced and can empathize with all of your larger than life issues and you are in fact correct, I have no perspective and have no idea what I'm going through"Do you know how retarded is to create a hero character with base hardships such as a few cat-callings and "mansplaining" and then equalize her to the whole shit Bruce lived?
Do you think those are the things that make everyday women around the world to lose their psyche and well-being? jesus do you know any woman?
Are your arm-pits hairs grown and purple tainted, just like the people who give this kind of takes in resetera?
I had no idea Hulk ever had a kid.
She-Hulk is still lightyears better than the Halo show. What a fuckin' tragedy that show is.Right from the get go, it was clear what this show was, and who it was aimed at. If you've wasted four hours of your life hate watching it, instead of watching something you'd actually have enjoyed, then that probably works as a better criticism of you than it does of the show.
It's trashy, lightweight nonsense for a female demographic.
Frankly, if I was a woman I'd feel deeply patronised by the whole thing, but a lot of them seem to like this kind of TV, so who am I to say anything. It's probably been quite successful with the audience it was intended for, and will get another season. I'm sure all of you clowns hate watching it have also added to the chances of it getting another season, so well done for perpetrating the exact type of show you don't want to watch.
Shame she didn't know how to use them. She stole Deadpools powers.
Sounds more like the made up excuses by the media to bring failing movies into the spotlight. This last episode with those guys on that cabin, holy shit!
That's how 50% of Gaf users talk about women, lmao.
I can't believe actual adults developed the ending of a multi-million production like this just to spite some people, like fucking teenagers.
How silly must be feeling the people that defended adamantly this show, pathetic.

My friend was watching it with his wife. He was getting disgruntled, but his wife was laughing and cheering to it.Right from the get go, it was clear what this show was, and who it was aimed at. What is a normie? You kids using slang. My friend was watching it with his wife. He was getting disgruntled, but his wife was laughing and cheering to it.
She's a normie btw. She thinks it's the best part of the mcu
A "normal person". Just works and lives her life. Doesn't really care about hobbies or interests because she's too busy working and taking care of the familyWhat is a normie? You kids using slang.
So no one talking about the Cold Open? That perfect recreation of The Incredible Hulk open?
Preach it!No, you just didn't understand the scene. That was her unintentionally showing she didn't have full control of her anger, while she thought she did because she had a lot to be angry about ya know since that stuff actually happens. Also arrogant? Lol please. Yall cried over tony Stark death and you wanna talk about she hulk when she displays the smallest modicum of bravado? Was matt being arrogant when he gloated to she hulk?
If your manhood got offended by this show you're probably the exact time of msn they are talking about. Because they had a ton of sympathetic and well presented male characters. They were sticking it to douchebags, not men. Her first enemy was a woman.
You mean the people who have never read comics and are crying that a female stole Deadpool‘s “powers”?Very entertaining and faithful to JB' She-Hulk. Non-comics MCU watchers may not appreciate it because of the over-saturation of gags in the movies the past few years.
They don't even get the 4th wall device. those moments are not cannon or part of the story. And the 4th wall break is an old standard tool in stage plays. You mean the people who have never read comics and are crying that a female stole Deadpool‘s “powers”?
I remember when people said you wouldn‘t need to follow the shows to know what’s going on in the movies. Not explicit about She-Hulk, but what buggers me now is to understand every reference in the MCU, you have to watch all the TV shows as well. Strange 2 without WandaVision makes you wonder “what is going on?” The Marvels without Ms Marvel will be the same. If you haven’t watched She-Hulk, you won’t know were Hulks son comes from. Etc.
I know that this is like in the comics, but it’s also hell of confusing for the regular movie goer without Disney+.
WandaVision is the best one IMO.I fired up Wandavision right after, I enjoyed that too. I might try Loki next.

Just caught up. Fun way to break the fourth wall. I am loving how Marvel is elevating Daredevil. Charlie Cox was the perfect casting, even without the red hair, and I love to see him getting his MCU due.
Marvel has adopted the Disney approach to its fandom.
You know it's the beginning of the end when their shows and movies are used as a narrative device to sh*t on the fanbase. So much salt and desperation by everyone involved in this frivolous crapshoot. It's literally the Ghostbusters 2016 type of marketing and we all know how that turned out. The only fools here are the Marvel sycophants who are being strung along for the ride. They've been basically duped into watching a middling lawyer soap-opera aimed at bored housewives.
If you think this vapid pop-culture derivative is smart or witty, I have a bridge to sell you.
The meta-commentary about the toxic fanbase is as fresh as a pair of old stinky boots. We've all heard this before, from Ghostbusters, over Dr. Who to Star Wars. If you hate this show your a misogynist... or an "incel" in this case. It's all just so predictable and boring.
Not many things are certain in life, but one thing has been true for me almost every time: Everything that tries to immunize itself from criticism is a fraud and most probably sucks.
She-Hulk reeks of insecurity and tries way too hard in that regard.
Ghostbusters 2016 was also watchable..
If the critiques were about the quality of the entertainment then fair game.
That's insecurity and social anxiety to the max. And it's "pretty pathetic" as someone clutching their Pearls described creators defending their work.
You like Ghostbusters 2016, your opinion is already null and void.
Nice strawmanning. Would you actually bother reading the comments you're replying to instead of parroting your talking points you'd have noticed that this is exactly what we've been doing.
This video pretty much sums it up nicely even without touching upon the gender of the protagonist:
You're projecting there mate. The only thing insecure in this thread are the Marvel fanboys clutching their pearls about this abominable show. They've invested so much time and life energy into the MCU, they have become unable to let go.
