He plagiarized a bunch of shit.
And then when he got caught he plagiarized his apologies.
He plagiarized a bunch of shit.
Shia is fake art. There's nothing to him. He's saying nothing. What, are you trying to ape Mel Gibson's sacrificial character or something? Fuck off.
Dude got caught in an embarrassing lie he still isn't able to come to terms with. Sorry, but fuck that shit. He's still not an artist, doesn't matter how many actual artists he steals from or cons into buying his shit. Try being a real person, Shia. It'll be liberating.
He should be bowing to Daniel Clowes. Doing his bidding at every opportunity. That's really when I'll start giving a shit about what Shia is doing.
I'm missing something. What's the embarassing lie?

Can't wait for Tru Confessions!

And there's much more where that came from.
EDIT: I'm surprised this is news to anybody.
And then when he got caught he plagiarized his apologies.
How do you even plagiarize an apology?
Edit: He is gone?
— Shia LaBeouf (@thecampaignbook) December 17, 2013Copying isn't particularly creative work. Being inspired by someone else's idea to produce something new and different IS creative work.
Edit: He is gone?

You seem to have a weird definition of "art". Why do you think it has to say something?
Literally nobody is awake at this point.
He is not sleeping for 3 days?
Good luck when you reach Indy 4.
You're still on about that? No one cares any more. I think you missed the memo. He redeemed himself and had been awesome the past year or two.Shia is fake art. There's nothing to him. He's saying nothing. What, are you trying to ape Mel Gibson's sacrificial character or something? Fuck off.

You can't redeem yourself? People should stay negative shits toward him? That's right, kids. You can get away with doing anything contemptible as long as you "redeem" yourself by being entertaining.

He didnt murder anyone. What shia did is the school kid equivalent of copying someones homework. Big whoop.
Move on people.
Would have been cool to see him do some commentary on his work. This is just boring.
I just woke up where is he!?
You mean the thing they'll kick you out of any serious academic institution for doing? That thing that's no big deal?

Yep, this is just a lame publicity stunt.

Sure, he could redeem himself for the plagiarism incident. But he hasn't even apologized for what he did (Plagiarized apologies don't count), not even to Daniel Clowes, the original author who he willfully and deceptively ripped off. And to make everyone forget about it, he's essentially done the artistic equivalent of dangling shiny keys in front of the masses, only for people to go "Oh, that Shia! What a guy! Who cares if he willfully ripped off some dude? He's just so entertaining!"
its a big deal if you want to stay in an academic institute, but not a big enough deal to warrant a life time of hate for it.
It's art.
Does that guy (Daniel Clowes) complaint about the plagiarism?
Yes?
In an interview from earlier this year:
I dont know. No, not really. I mean, I dont hold a grudge. I dont think about it that much. But I dont think what he did was really forgivable. I dont know that it matters that much if hes apologizing or whatever.
I just hate the idea of anybody doing that to some young artist who couldnt hire legal representation. Im sort of the one guy who could deal with something like that, and it would be really possible for somebody with his amount of money and power to just crush some poor young artist if that happened to them, and I would hate to see that.
So I dont think its something that needs to be forgiven; I think its something that always needs to be thought of as just a horrible thing to do.
