Al Jazeera are reporting it was an Israeli airstrike. Seriously the UN needs to step in and FORCE Israel to end their war crimes and make them negotiate a reasonable peaceful solution that involves the 1967 borders and an end to the siege. Fuck the US veto.Enact some emergency legislation for sanctions to be used against Israel.

Are you people crazy? Israel is just trying to defend itself! All this anti-Israel rhetoric makes me sick, why are these kids even in hospitals and refugee camps? Don't they know that Hamas is there trying to use them as shields?

I see what you did there, but it's kind of scary that some people actually follow this line of thinking.

IDF denies, claims it was a Hamas... airstrike...

Point 2 on this list:

Israel and Israel-Firsters’
PR methods:

1. We haven't heard reports of deaths, will check into it

2. The people were killed, but by a faulty Palestinian rocket/bomb

3. Ok we killed them, but they were terrorists

4. Ok they were civilians, but they were being used as human shields

5. Ok there were no fighters in the area, so it was our mistake. But we kill
civilians by accident, they do it on purpose

6. Ok we kill far more civilians than they do, but look at how terrible other
countries are!

7. Why are you still talking about Israel ? Are you some kind of
anti-semite?

8. Repeat from step 1 (Test this against the next interview you hear or
watch.)"

Oh and it seems they didn't deny the attack on the refugee camp, only the one on the hospital.

Netanyahu: Looks like we goofed. My b, but still, that HAMAS tho

It's depressing that this is probably exactly how they would respond and the world would just carry on looking the other way.

Hamas hacked IDF drones and attacked the hospital. Then returned drone to IDF control. Anythings possible guys, we should wait for all the facts before condemning the IDF.

I'm starting to notice a pattern whereby they issue prelim investigation results as they know those will be reported on and when there's not that much attention on the incident any more, they issue clarifications in as quiet/low key way as possible.

The children on the beach is just one of the most noticeable examples of this.

guaranteed they are going to say Hamas rockets were in the area and this is just another example of Hamas using human shields, also we have the right to defend ourselves shtick

The last time the idf claimed misfires they ended up admitting it was them 24 hours later. Either way, this shit needs to stop. How much longer can this go on for?

The pattern of denials is totally absurd. I mean it all sounds like feeding internal politics, similar to what Russia is doing in relation to the Ukraine crisis.

The usual pattern of denial then admittance will commence followed by nothing being done about it.

My heart bleeds for the people living there and the families that are being destroyed while the world does nothing.

The UN can't FORCE Israel to do anything. LOL

Not with the U.S. backing them.

I'm sorry, what are the odds that these two misfires would specifically hit a refugee camp, and then right after, hit the hospital the people injured/killed from the refugee camp were sent to? Ignoring the eye witness testimony, this alone is crazy talk. You would think that these shitty Hamas rockets were doing all the work here, and IDF could just sit back or something.

horrible. Let's wait for some clarification

probably the best mindset to embrace, but not many will listen to you

The difficulty is that this has literally happened multiple times already, where the IDF has claimed it was a Hamas misfiere, and then when overwhelming evidence appears, starts an internal investigation, and then shortly after that they say "It seems like there was an exchange of fire, because nearby Hamas militants were using X location has human shield, thus X location was shelled because of Hamas".

Good thing editors can't edit twitter account of journalists.

After the IDF denial of the UN shelter attack, you would think we would know better.

I agree. After hearing Hamas executing 30 suspected traitors and they have been coaching people on how to gain extra sympathy by calling soldiers "civilians" on social media, I'm not too trusting of their crew.

Horrible situation, regardless, and I'm in no way suggesting these people here weren't civilians.

Don't listen to either side, they're both hostile to people that don't agree with them and engaging in propaganda campaigns. DO listen to the people whose homes are caught in the crossfire (if you can hear them above the sound of the drones).

This is far from the last of it. IDF will keep killing civilians until an outside pressure forces them to stop.

IDF always denies they were responsible until enough evidence is finally thrown at them at which point they finally admit "it was an accident." Rear ending a car is an accident. Killing children is fucking murder. How many "accidents" are they going to have anyways with their "surgical" procedures? What the hell are they targeting when 80% of the victims are civilians? Their strategy is obvious. Keep terrorizing the civilian population so that they turn against Hamas, but this is only making the people more hardened against Israelis and rooting for the men and women fighting against these oppressors.

People that rather believe Hamas over the I.D.F. sicken me. The I.D.F. has shown aerial photos proving the volley that hit both of those areas was shot from within Gaza by Hamas itself. One of them also hit the ocean and one was intercepted over Ashkelon.

I wonder if the same people will also believe Al-Qaeda over the U.S. army.

They're using flechette shells in urban areas, their procedures are anything but surgical

Gaza is just an incredibly narrow strip of land and is densely populated. Any prolonged military campaign is only going to increase civilian casualties. Both sides need to come to the table and make concessions as to how they operate.

As a more important issue of the whole conflict, it doesn't seem like the issue of borders, settlements, East Jerusalem etc. will ever be resolved.

They'll need the support (full support that is) of the other members of the SC....... but, who's going to support them? In the last vote, which was only to conduct a independent investigation for how israel has conducted, after sheling a UNRWA shelter, this happened:

Esh7M16.jpg

The vote passed regarless. In the SC? I don't thnik something similar could ever happen. israel has usa and its allies by the balls.

I want to say "who do the IDF think they're fooling?" as they slaughter more and more innocents in the name of self-preservation
(ethnic cleansing trending towards genocide)
, but the fact of the matter is... they're fooling a lot of people.

Disgusting. And disgusting that my country supports and condones this bullshit.
