Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?
Not sure how that is relevant to... anything.
BTW, none of those versions made it to the end, including the PS4 ones.
Because ...
It was money-hatted to be a single platform exclusive.

Nope, Sony just picked it up, just like Nintendo did with Bayonetta 2. They literally could release it on Xbox if they want to, like Helldivers 2.Because ...

Sony is the publisher of Stellar Blade on PS5 and PC, and of Helldivers 2 on PS5, PC AND Xbox. They own both games.Who could release it on Xbox if they wanted to and was Helldiver 2's publisher on PS and the later Xbox port?

I never said the IP, though. Money-hatting publishing rights is a new one, but worth mentioning that it's a thing everywhere and ultimately means that they own that specific game.Sony doesn't own the SB IP, they just money-hatted the publishing rights to the game.
Ala Death Stranding? SIE is still the publisher of all the PlayStation versions and still hold part of the copyright on it, as seen on the Steam release (not to mention both it and the Xbox version still having the SIE presents splash screen at the beginning of the title):So, unless and until the arbitrary publishing timeline goes away ala Death Stranding DC, it's only on Sony's whim where the game gets published.

Nah, we're not.Right, what multiple users already said. It was announced as a multi-platform project then sony money-hatted / 'bought' the publishing rights for the game.
So we're all on the same page.
As for being announced as a multiplatform project, that's arguable. No PC, no Nintendo Switch, only 8th generation consoles while the game ended up being a 9th generation only title. You guys always see these things through your console exclusivity glasses that forget that these platform holders are still just publishers and that these are very standard practices within the publishing business (i.e. picking up a game that was already in development for you to publish).
Moneyhatted third-party exclusives (something that can only be the case in the context of a platform holder) are just deals made between the partners relations groups of each company involved, while deals like Bayonetta 2 and Stellar Blade (situations that are very common in the video game publishing industry) involve these publishers (Nintendo and SIE) directly funding and managing the project, while also handling all related sales and marketing operations.

Multiple platforms.
It's the exact kind of argument you made previously here.Yeah, and we've already established who paid to make it so.
Not sure what's there to even doubt about this argument anymore. Carry on.
Find me something stating that Stellar Blade was ever coming to Xbox Series at any single point.Find me the Bayonetta 2 project picture with other platforms listed that later got un-announced.
For a second party, it might be Ps5 and PC same launch date. I just hope both version will be well optimized because most multiplatorm or even just PC ports are unoptimze and allot of issue, example SH2 remake, Lost souls, and even Hell diver 2 has issues. This 3 examples were launch for PS5 and PC at the same date.Doubt it. Why would they give up more than half their sales at launch?
Those deals are gonna be harder to make as time goes on. Nioh 3 is day 1 on Steam for example.
