You don't have a 360? :O

I gotta admit, I liked your set-up in Atlanta a lot more...

A place like I had in Atlanta would cost about $2500/mo here. :lol

Why does it surprise you that I dont have a 360?

ps: the PS2 and sticks are in the living room if you were wondering, although I usually travel to play on arcade out here now.

Normally I wouldn't post again in these kinds of threads but I moved a couple months back and finally got the office I always wanted. Instead of the cluttered mess in the living room, we have an office dedicated to gaming (and other worthwhile pursuits). So here we go...

Living room has the Wii and Dreamcast.

The little boxes on top are Asheron's Call and Asheron's Call 2, then the Baldur Games for PC, Civ, Ultima 9, and Guild Wars. I own a Saturn but can't find my Saturn box (think my dad threw it away) and the Turbo Grafx 16 isn't unpacked because I buy games on the Wii and play them there. Excuse the wires, I just rearranged the room and haven't put my ties back on them.

Sorry for the overexposure on the white boxes. My camera sucks, I don't have a hand light I can use to actually see anything with, so I have to get kinda close to be able to see the stuff I'm taking a picture of.

Sometimes I wish when people post pics of their set up, the ones with HDTVs can at least type the model number in their post. It would be helpful for us who want to buy an HDTV.

Nice, where'd you get the coffee table?

Hey DDDD, I noticed you have a similarly sized TV but the Wii sensor on the riser. I was wondering if you have the same issue as me where the pointer registers lower on the screen than you are actually pointing at (I play about 5 feet away). For me the riser actually makes the problem slightly worse (i.e., the bar would need to be impossibly lower to register the way I'd like it to) so that's what made me wonder.

Are those the Axiom m22's you have there? Those are probably some of the best speakers for the price. They look better with the grills off. I had a pair of B&W CM1's and I promptly returned them after listening to the m22's at a friends house.

Also, why is there a garbage can in your living room? Get that out of there....wtf... :lol

I apologise for the bad pics in advance....not a very good camera...

These were taken literally minutes ago, half naked black guy in the 1st pic was NOT intentional...

Pretty sure lunlunqq is rocking some of the Ikea Lack series.

Yup. Ikea Lacks they are. I live by my self in my apt. Dont need expensive stuff now. Unfortunately, I cant put my receiver into the TV unit. ended up leaving it beneath the end table that I use for a speaker stand.

This is one of the nicest setups in the thread. Everything is clean and simple (except for the trash bin!).

Good job!

Thx, man. Ah... the trash bin... I had some friends coming over the night before. I was cleaning the coffee table in the morning, thus the trash bin was there. Forgot to remove it before taking the pictures...hehe

Yes! Those are m22's! I really them, but never tried taking the grills off. Will give it a try.

Actually none of the components in my system are really expensive (M22's, Center VP100, Surround M2's, Sub HSU VTF-2 Mk3, Receiver Onkyo TX-SR 605). But they are all considered best value for their prices.

Nobody noticed the VTF-2?

This babe is a little too powerful for my apt living room. I put the volume at around 15% and it's literally rocking my sofa... guess if i put it over 50% my head will explode before my neighbors can break in to kill me... :)

Damn... I have the same coffee table, end tables and carpet.

helo Ikea

hehe, Ikea is not bad. but they really need improve the quality of their stuff. i had trouble putting a few pieceds together because of quality issues... cant complain about the price though.

ahah..looks like you're balancing the tv on that green flimsy decoration :lol

haha, yeah...I went to Ikea (and now I have to go back to get a light wood colored coffee table, damnit) and I bought one of those stupid hat/tie/key holder things. I have absolutely no use for it, and it doesn't fit anywhere at my place, so I stuck it under the TV as a joke and have gotten so many comments from everyone that comes over (OmG THe TEEvvee iz GroWIn OUtta Tha GrouDN!!!1). :lol

And Astro, I haven't really noticed any problems. But it may be because I sit father away (10 feet or so) or perhaps I've just adjusted. Either way, I feel it's pretty accurate.

Here is my new pc gaming setup

2 gigs of DDR2 RAM

So, first there was this:
1082005839_a65392766c_b.jpg

Purchased from IKEA for 79 Euros. A pain in the ass to assemble and put it up there all by myself.

Then after some mods and thanks to this:
1082012821_e53be6ec29_o.jpg

^^ Recharges the 360 controller as well

It now looks like this:

Were is the difference? Glad you DIDN'T notice, but take a closer look:

Cables drowned into the oblivion where they do belong to.

There is still some small work to do (holes need to be properly closed rather than "patched") but hey, I think there are no recharge stations like that around! ;)

That's (well, part of) our basement setup. I really like the space for movies, etc. Will start on a family room setup later but really enjoying this for now.

awesome lighting.
