Show us your gaming setup: 2011 Edition

Lian Li tower is underneath the macbook pro.

What kind of speakers are those?

I'm going to be a little vague here, but I hope someone can help me out. Right now, my custom built desktop PC is on the floor. I don't want it to be on the floor, however. :) I'm looking for a small black platform on which to put my desktop on, preferably something that isn't too high off the ground. If anyone has seen anything similar online let me know. I didn't know where else to post this, but a gaming set up thread seemed like the logical place.

I believe you are looking for a computer pedestal.

I like the clean setups and all, but I want to see nasty basements with shit piled up and tons of games. Come on ya'll, I know you're out there.
Just for you, bro.

:lol

It has become even more of a mess since I added a 42" HDTV without removing anything from the desk seen in that image.

And it is amazing. Never been more comfy.

Black glasstop L desk. The monitor is what I play games on:

Close up of where I keep the most current consoles and games--360 on top and PS3 under that. I like them out of the way, under the desk:

This is by far my favorite set up. It's very clean and minimalist.

That looks like the Samsung LED D8000 Series. I was looking at purchasing the 60" version myself, but the viewing angles killed it for me...

NICE! I get my 65ST30 Monday... let's stay in touch...

For sure! I bought a 50ST30 for our bedroom (Haven't opened it yet), so I've done my research...

God damn... i am on a kuro but still jealous of the size of the TV. In your picture the TV looks freaking huge mang. I feel tiny with my 50 inch lol.

Thanks man, here's another one from the seat view...

I went from a 55" to a 65" I didn't really think that it was going to be that much of a jump till the delivery guys came in with the huge ass box...

What is that around your lcd?? Saran wrap??

Looks like the static protective plastic that comes with the TV when you take it out of the box for the first time. The finish on his display is glossy like mine and will be a huge dust/scratch magnet over time but I think it still looks better with the plastic off.

Its kind of like leaving the plastic factory wraps on car seats after you get your new car from the dealer. Its hard to do but you realise its just tacky after a while and tear it off eventually. Just treat it well with microfiber dusters and it won't be a problem.

Very nice! Welcome to the club! It's going to be hard going back to using anything else. Heck, I'm moving next year to a new house and I have to finish the basement. I'm going to miss my projector setup a LOT!

I can't really tell what PJ that is but I'm going to take a stab and say it's the new Panny 7000?

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

I'll never tell :P
No it's a replica, pretty good one though. I can't imagine spending $2700 on a lamp...

That is a nice
replica!
. The ones I usually see floating around have round necks which is not correct. From what I can see yours is rectangular.

Finally decided to get a projector, too bad I'm bad with photographs.

Definitely want to mount that thing so you can get rid of that warping and get it out of the way of being moved and having to re-orient it.
Wish I could afford a nice projector, they are so nice for gaming and watching anything.

"Almost". As hongesagatame said its an Epson TW6000 (also known as 3010 in some parts of the world, just black). But I believe it shares a lot of similar tech with the Panasonic. Just not as high end?

Indeed, when I have time I'm going to mount it to the roof. The current setup isn't too bad though. It fits really well on the shelf, but the real problem is that the shelf is between the couch and door so when people move they block the light. And of course the slight keystoning makes the image a bit blurry (not really noticeable) on the left side. Still mad at Epson because they decided to leave lens shift out of this model.

Can't really describe how much I have enjoyed racing games with this :)

Hehe, would have guessed on TW6000 but I supposed most of the people here were from the US so I checked Epsons US website for the product number.

I'm very interested in getting one myself so any impressions would be most interesting, especially regarding gaming and input lag. I've heard some hardcore fps players say it's more or less useless to play games on due to massive input lag, then again some people (casual I suppose) don't seem to notice any input lag at all.

Have the standard couch etc. Not pictured is the 23'' 3D monitor for my PC. Would like to get a surround sound unit sometime soon.

Recently moved overseas to live with the missus, she was kind enough to let me take over her tv cabin.

Still need to set up my sound system, it's still in boxes. Might post pics when I get around to setting it up.

Dayumn Smokey...2x MSI Lightning GTX 580 3GB. I like the way you roll, playa.

Heh, thanks. Needless to say I pretty much rip through anything I throw at my machine. Not limited in anyway because of the 3GB of VRAM on each card and of course the 2 580s in SLI.
