Finally replaced my 40 inch LCD with a Samsung 55 inch LED UN55ES8000. This TV has everything...voice control, motion control, 3D, movie files support, Samsung apps, web browser, youtube, and that sexy slim bezel. I'm also surprised at the extra detail I'm seeing in gaming on this new TV. Overall, I'm quite happy with the purchase.

All systems are up and running outsides ps1, ps2 and Wii due to backwards compatibility.

All flat panel TVs suffer from input lag...just depends how much. Yes, it is quite bad on this TV if you have the Auto Motion stuff turned on. I found the input lag apparent when playing online only. It is no worse than what is already found on the PSN. Took a little adjustment on Xbox live but it's okay now.
Herman Miller Embody + Envelop, found a local authorized re-seller who goes way below whats listed on the website so it was pretty good, found the place from RFD.
The chair was $798 from $1241 and desk was $580 from $960.

Interesting, I work for the US government and after our recent ergonomic assessment they started offering up the Embody for folks with issues. They used to bring in Aerons. And since all the budget paperwork goes through me I can see that the government pays quite a bit more than $1241. Guarantees and take-backs are built into the cost, though.

Mods can confirm my many attempts to fix on my part.
I'm away on business, so only had access to fix with phone. Issues with coding couldn't seem to be adjusted easily.

That's an interesting attitude. Your massive images were totally fucking up the formatting of the whole page for several days, that's why a few people requested you either edit your post, or for a mod to do it for you. It wasn't an unreasonable request. It appeared that you had abandoned this thread, because you had been active elsewhere on the forums since posting the images.
For future reference, you can just edit your image tags with [QUOTE*] [/QUOTE*] at the beginning and end (ignore the *).

A nice colourful carpet in the center of the room would do wonders. Also, some art to go above that couch.

Up next I made up a plan to get a black ikea galant 80x160cm to replace the current cheap white 60x120 desk, reuse it to make an L type set up, and eventually replace that with a matching 60x120 galant. The 60x120 section will have my PC sitting on it and I'm planning on using it for a VR set up so I can turn and use a Rift with a dedicated HOTAS and kb/m

How is the Embody? I use an Eames aluminum group chair, but I was thinking of switching to a high backed chair. Everyone I know uses either an Aeron or an Eames so I haven't heard anything from people using an Embody for longer than a few minutes.

If you're going to source a table from ikea, I would suggest a Gerton or Vika Furuskog table top. Use a stain (if you want a different/deeper color) and wood wax/polish (necessary) on the wood and it will be better than the particleboard based Galant.
Other than that, you're planned set up sounds great.
