5 minutes is plenty of time if all you're doing is soap/shampoo/rinse...enough to feel refreshed and clean. obviously you'll need more time if you engage in extra-curricular shower activities.

I have taken 5 mintue showers...nothing wrong with them...depends on the situation and time you have to get ready.

I shower once a day, usually in the morning, or if I'm lazy, then an hour before whatever happens to be my first class of the day. I don't time them, but I figure I maybe spend 10 minutes in the shower on average, counting the time from when I first step in, to when I've dried off and stepped out. I suppose I could take quicker showers, but I prefer a shower to be a more relaxing experience, so I just sort of take slow, lazy showers.

Maybe once a month I'll skip a day, but I'll always have a shower the day if I missed it the night before.

Every morning which serves to wake me up and just to be clean for the day. If I am going out, I typically shower before that as well. I just brush in the mornings before I go to class/work.

Once in the morning, once before going out at night I do, and once before bed time. I brush my teeth 3-4 times a day, and I always keep mints or whatever around just in case.

My roommate from sophomore year of college was on the swim team, so he never appeared to shower. I think he believed that the pool kept him clean. Suffice to say, he made our dorm room smell bad all the time.

Strangely enough, we're now great friends and I was a groomsman in his wedding.

This is common sense people, any of you that don't shower every day is a dirty man. YUCK.

Occasionally after a big night in town I might wallow in my own filth if I have a hangover, but that evening the room gets a clean.

I'll shower anywhere from every day to every 2 days. Over the summer, though...Hah. My head cook and I were always comparing who hadn't taken a shower in the longest. We were at 4 days each at the most. It was a camp, so the showers sucked and they had to soften the water. If we ended up staying up too late, the water would already be shut off and we have too much to do in the morning to take one before work. Some days we'd end up just hosing our heads off with a high-powered sprayer in the dish sink because we felt so gross but had no time for a shower :lol

Yeah i see your point...if it's a day where I'm staying home, got no where to go or know no one is coming over i won't shower just becuase...mind you I'm not currently seeing a woman, that would change if i was because nothing is sexier to a woman than a man who looks and smells clean.

Lately i've had no hot water to take showers, but that doesnt mean i dont take showers. I freeze my nads off, but this is what i get for living in a old house where the water heater has to be specialy ordered from the other side of the US.

I like to take at least a shower or two a day. I take it that if i skip a day its cause i've either stayed up all that time or i'm sick as a dog. I like my showers. Now how many times do people take baths?

Ever had orange juice with breakfast? Ever brush your teeth right before drinking orange juice? Actually, I never brush my teeth before a meal, for the simple reason that most toothpastes have this incredibly strong flavor, that overpowers the taste of what I'm trying to eat.

As for showers, whenever I'm dirty. I usually go once every day or two in the summer, and whenever I get some exercise in the winter.

Once I went several months without brushing because my toothbrush broke and I never got around to buying a new one.

I usually shower in the morning every day I go out, if i'm just going to spend the day at home I don't bother.

I change my underwear twice a day, sometimes more if they get dirty...

The thing about orange juice is true, hence why I never drink it by itself. I generally have something to eat, like toast in the morning to "wear in" my teeth. I never have OJ straight up; on an empty stomach, the acids wreck havoc.
