Echoing similar sentiments. Great episode and yes it does feel like the story is now thankfully back on track, setting us up for what should be an awesome finale.
10 my man. Next episodes areon June 18 then"Hooli-Con"on June 25."Server Error"
On another note, anyone get the feeling Melcher knows about Richard sleeping with Liz, hence the false increase in data and server costs?
Ending was GREAT.
Fire scene was weird as fuck
Yeah, I though that would beErlich's death scene since he's been written off the show.
What was the song at the end this time?
Yeah I actually though the same until the uplifting music started to play when Richard was still in the house.

I liked it, but the circumstances leading to Erlich's downfall happening entirely off screen and just being dropped on the viewer felt a little jarring.
That really Haley Joel Osment? The beard and the weight gain completely threw me.
How is it that Bighead gets 20 million, Jian Yang gets 12 million, but the algorithm is only worth 25 million? The thing could solve youtube, netflix, oculus, amazon, etc. Why isn't it being licensed out for billions? I thought the joke was that Richard was obsessed at keeping it in-house and was so bad at developing a killer-app that the tech was being wasted. His idea of an inconceivable number is the kind of money Hooli paid Bighead to go away, or barely double "not hotdog?"
I don't normally nitpick, but it seemed like a crazy low number in the context of the show. Haley Joel Osment is clearly a Palmer Lucky parody, and that kid is worth billions.

As Monica said to Richard, it's just theoretical at the moment. He needs to prove it actually can work before they'll invest in it.

Mike Judge has talked about this exact thing. Yes, in real life Rich and the gang would have Google and the rest of Silicon Valley hurling billions in their direction. How is it that Bighead gets 20 million, Jian Yang gets 12 million, but the algorithm is only worth 25 million? I dont like knowing that they are going to write TJ off this season.
What is Richard scheming? Somehow installing their app onto every phone at Hoolicon?
What is Richard scheming? Somehow installing their app onto every phone at Hoolicon?
That wouldn't be a big deal for this show.I figured it's going to be a scheme wherein they promise free Hoolicon tickets for anyone who'd install the app, and then using the money from Monica's firm or doing some trick at Hoolicon to get the money back. But that seems like an absurd amount of money to use (and you'll need it all upfront), so I'm not sure it makes sense.
Aw the oculus guy left so soon.

I know I'm years late on this, but I was rewatching American Psycho yesterday and saw a familiar face:

Great episode. Loved the callback to the Bad News Ugly Sweater.
👍Man Monica is the most beautiful actress ever, I wish they would include her more in the piedpiper storyline
Ha ha. I didn't pick that up at the time and I was wondering why they focused on the sweater so much.Great episode. Loved the callback to the Bad News Ugly Sweater.
The Larry King TJ Miller interview where Larry asks him about the "mutual" decision to move on from the show was awkward as fuck. Really curious as to the true story there.
Hey everyone, started watching the show a few days ago and I just started the second season. How's the show from this point on, better or worse? I enjoyed what I've seen up to now.
I wasn't on the Richard hate train but I just boarded it in full force.
It kind of builded up over the season but god the guy is so annoying.
