kind of off topic but miller mentions the show "Crashing" in that interview, was that any good? worth watching at least?

Maybe a single phone will be storing a complete file but yea, it does sound like the perfect place for dark web shit. I'm guessing that's what brings down the entire project, similar to how the video chat thing fell apart but an inherent part of the design.

Nothing in this show stands up to the most casual of observation. It's a satirical comedy for which you need to turn off your brain and just accept whatever Richard et al say as gospel, especially when it comes to anything tech related.

It depends on how much free time you have. It's watchable, but completely inessential. It doesn't do anything different from all the other semi-autobiographical shows from comedians. It's definitely a type of show I'm hoping dies off soon.

I'm pretty sure TJ and Tommy Middle-D are old friends of Pete Holmes so regardless of quality they'd rep it.

I haven't seen it so I can't comment, myself.

Jared was gold like always. A handful of really funny comments including facing your fears and Richard being a catch.

Last week's ep wasn't "ha-ha" funny, but had a deeper comedy of farce with that poor guy that got cucked (actual appropriate use of the word, yay!) by Ehrlich twice, and now loses what would have been his third wife to Richard.

Nice swerve with basically writing Russ out of everything. Between this and Ehrlich's departure at the end of the season, we're looking like a complete refresh outside of Richard, Dinesh, Gilfoyle, Monica, and Jared next time around.

I only saw the first episode of Crashing, which seemed like self-indulgent dreck.

This episode was glorious and on fire. This is the kind of energy missing so far this season, and hey, a callback to Season 1!

I wonder how much of a power bill Gilfoyle racked up just to hack Jian Yang's fridge.

Where did Bighetti disappear to in the last couple eps?

The ending music always gets me laughing. In a way I'm sort of also saying goodbye to Erlich. I'm going to miss him.

The scene with the ladies was telling.

I love Erlich but between Dinesh, Gilfoyle, Jared and Jian Yang this show has enough to keep going. Add in some other less regular characters, and maybe someone new...

I think it'll be fine. Still sad to see him go, but I don't think it's a disaster.

The limp biscuit thing is a game I've heard come by under many different names.

Anyways, Gilfoyle vs the Fridge was incredible. As was Ed Chambers. Erlich on fire too. Great episode I'd say.

Eeeeeh i'm thinking of dropping this series, i've enjoyed it up until season 3 but now i watch it and feel nothing... i think it's mostly because of Richard.
Also while Elrich is far from being my favourite character in the series losing him will not help.

Good episode. Erlich's "shrinking Richard" had me deceased. That scene was pure gold, I'll miss that fat hairy bastard.
I feel that this episode had great moments but overall was kinda flat, just like previous episodes and whole season 3.
Oh and fuck Jin Yiang. I fucking hate him.

yeah, Richard constantly fucking up EVERYTHING is really getting annoying, and maybe the character has always been extremely pedantic and fussy but it feels dialed up to a 10 now.

Still, i'll watch the next season but probably do what I did last season - wait until all the episodes air then binge through it, the crappy parts get forgotten faster.

This season is True Detective s2 bad. I can't believe how far this show fell off. With Erlich not coming back, it's days are seriously numbered at this rate.

The plot is definitely is soggy as a limp biscuit but goddamn if Jian Yang + Refrigerator vs Gilfoyle wasn't fucking hilarious. The joke writing is as good as it's ever been, but the overarching story is spinning it's wheels.

Also burst out at Erlich's "big fat dick" remark, this show is going to be crippled without TJ unless Osment is his replacement and is just as bombastic.

feels like the main plot is losing itself in a bunch of nothing, i mean the patent troll thing was almost exactly like the pied piper naming license plotline from season 1.

there's no tension anymore with gavin belson out of the picture, jack barker ascendant at hooli (which removes him from conflict with pied piper), and russ hanneman being the comic relief. it felt like the pied piper team was always competing against some other company or technology, but now the main roadblocks are just richard's ineptitude and them not having any money to fund the idea.
