Jennifer Connelly being the inspiration for Jennifer in Clock Tower in her Phenomena movie and Tifa in the OG FFVII in her Career Opportunities movie. Also Garnet and Zidane might been inspired by her too plus David Bowie in the movie Labyrinth. The Creator of FFIX mentioned Jim Henson's Dark Crystal before and Jim Henson also made Labyrinth which Jennifer Connelly was in. Jennifer Connelly did a lot of commercials in Japan during her younger days so no surprise.

Phenomena - Both protagonists in Clock Tower and Phenomena are named Jennifer and both encountered a killer using a giant scissor. Plus the creator basically confirmed it was the inspiration anyway.
