Since when did Anaheim Angels change their name to LA Angels?

Isn't it only a temporary thing, they're either gonna return it to Anaheim only or LA only. It happened like, around December-ish? All I know is that the new baseball games still have them as the Anaheim Angels, so it happened before February for sure, cuz thats about when theyre puttin the finishing touches on the game.
Yeah, as already said, they're actually the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Which is, by far, the dumbest team name ever.
It's not temporary unless Anaheim is successful in making them change their name back in the courts. And they did it to hack into the revenue stream of the Los Angeles market.

The Dodgers sell a lot more merchandise than Anaheim because a.) they're LA's team and b.) they have one of the most storied franchises in sports history. The Angels do similar numbers tickets wise already due to the market -- now they're just trying to steal some of the Dodgers' history. I'm sorry but LA and baseball means the Dodgers and the Angels can go to hell.

the funny part is that Los Angeles already means "The Angels". Kinda redundant, no?
anyway, basically the Angels got a new hispanic owner who is trying to tap into the huge mexican market in LA. This is also why he's been spending a lot of $$$ bringing in hispanic players like Vlad and Orlando Cabrera. It also doesn't help that the Dodgers have been run into a shithole the last 10 or so years. Their fanbase is ripe for the taking.
