You can expect about one new Apple rumor per day until MacWorld begins next month, and today’s comes to us courtesy of MP3Newswire. They haven’t exactly been the most reliable source in the past, but they’re reporting that in addition to a flash-based iPod, Steve Jobs is also going to announce that they’ve cut a deal with Sirius and introduce an iPod with a built-in satellite radio receiver. Would certainly Apple’s reluctance to put an FM tuner in there, but the one thing that makes this seem totally bogus is the fact that cramming a 40GB hard drive and a satellite radio tuner into the same package would result in an iPod that’s way bigger than the current ones. We shall see.

Who says it's gotta be a 40gig HD? Why not a 5gig ala Ipod Mini with sattelite radio that would be the same size as the current 40gig Ipod?

no way this will happen, unless sirius did some major size reduction in their chipsets.
