Caught this movie on tape today...the acting is wooden as hell (Gwynnethetheh Paltrow is basically just phoning it in, and leaves Jude Law or whoever Sky Captain is to provide all the funny/witty) and characters are introduced/shown in the movie too little (Frankie), but the story is a wonderful throwback to "serial" movies and the style can't be beat. I'd love to see a sequel, albeit one with a more focused plot and not necessarily just a big nostalgia fest
addendum: Bai Ling is still fucking hot. And is yet another underused character in this movie
