Could very well be especially if the modding support is low for Obivion Remake. The game can even start off better but Skyobivion already looks impressive and is very matured with the creation kit so it'll easily catch up and surpass the Remake even if the Renake starts off better.

Yeah Skybivion is perhaps one of thr most impressive fan made project ever even surpassing Black Mesa the Half Life remake which was already very impressive but Skyobivion is on another level due to the sheer scale, size, and content Skyobivion has with the navamesh and radiant A.I to make sure all the complex npcs would actually function too.
