Skyward Sword review thread [Newest Reviews - Cubed3 10/10, GC: A, AusGamers: 7/10]

It's mindblowing how badly written that is. I wish more reviews were at the level of the Eurogamer U3 review.

I think it's a joke review poking fun at maybe how some fanboy perceives the 'biased' media might handle Zelda: Skyward Sword because it's a Nintendo game or something. Nobody would truly publish a review that awkwardly written.

Would they?

But I had fun writing it! Just wanted to see how gullible some of you can be. Though I'd like to hear why it's "mindblowingly bad written".

edit; let you wii is obviously a typo. Also, I'm not English

Zelda anyone? I'm so giving this a 7.5.

IGN 7.5 confirmed.

So you wrote a fake review with the expressed intent of wanting to whip the thread into a frenzy. Don't do this. This is exactly how the Uncharted 3 debacle started. We're going to have another 8.8 on our hands because posters wanted to be "edgy" and fostered an atmosphere that the sharks in the water mistook for real blood.

Ah... Still awhile to wait for it...

Yeah, that's a dumb thing to do. Write a fake review to try and troll and get a reaction out of people.

Edit:

Also, try to write something good next time you do it. You know to make it semi-believable.

Anyway, guys, can we hold hands and caress each other to the sweet sweet harmony of "Skyward Sword is coming out in a few weeks" discussion?

Yeah, sure. Thankfully, we should be able to make it if there isn't another big flood of spoilers...

OH GOD REGGIE WHAT ARE YOU DOING, GET AWAY FROM GAMETRAILERS.

The Read and Write benchmarks of the HD Tune Pro were quite impressive for the Scorpio Blue. The 5,400RPM drive is showing us that not only does this 2.5″ drive have a 1TB storage capacity, and has a price tag less than other drives of the same storage but it also comes with a price tag that is quite the competitive

Conclusion:

The Western Digital Scorpio Blue has more than impressed us with its benchmark scores which rival other spindle drives of faster RPMs and larger in physical size. The quite operation had us guessing if the spindle was even spinning. The 2.5″ form factor make the Scorpio Blue an ideal option for laptops on the market today and also with the storage of 1TB the SSD drives on the market today can’t compete let alone the largest SSD has a price tag that is six to seven times the cost of one Scorpio Blue drive.

Wasn't that fake review by AniHawk?

Also, what happened to AceBandage?

I dunno but back in the day I was always debating that AceBandage should totally be taken down, big a Nintendo fanboy as he is. Probably did something Nintendo fanboyish to the extreme again.

Hah...never ever be surprised at the internet.

God this game coming out in a few weeks is the best news since Dark Souls coming out in a few weeks which was the best news since Arkham City coming out in a few weeks which was the best news since Skyrim coming out in the next few weeks..

that scene was so weird because it was like

"oh yeah we kinda really met face-to-human-face for the first time just now, i guess i need to ask you to help us or something"
Haha. It was weirder because the large headed, disproportional Link clashed with the regularly proportioned Zelda. Didn't help that Link was shorter than her too.

You had a hit list?

...was I on it? :P

Well it was more like a watch list. Basically my watch list was determined by how often someone has been banned by past mods and then how frequently they fall back into their old patterns of behavior. It just so happens AceBandage's problems are frequenty related to his fanboyism. Fanboys make themselves easy targets. But I respect fanboys who admit what they are... and being a fanboy in of itself isn't against the rules. Being consistently intellectually dishonest to back up ones fanboy perspective (I say this with a slight hint of irony, considering my own failings) is more likely to get you pegged.

You weren't on my list.

This is very scary.

Any DmC defenders on there?

Ezekiel, but it was ok, since Amirox was quick to publicly mock him and represent the REAL DMC fans at every turn.
Haha well at least he has been the Knight since the start, it was more weird after the horrible TGS showing it some how got more on it's side.

Oh and that Zelda box makes me even more hype damn it.

Why scary? We have to watch repeat offenders, that's all that is. We have a list of people banned and we can see how often they were banned, and depending on how frequently they're being banned for the same or similar reasons, that person merits special attention. And that's just the way I handled it, other mods had other ways they watched people.

I personally didn't have any DmC fans of my list, because having dumb opinions doesn't make you worthy for the list :P

Only reason Ezekial kept getting what he got was because of the game he played wherein he kept being intellectually dishonest about his supposed profound confusion as to WHY people were so bitter about Ninja Theory taking the reigns. Like he couldn't conceive why people were angry that a developer who made nothing but terrible sub-30fps action titles would be getting the handle of the series with the greatest action combat system @ 60fps in the industry. He acted like we were unfair and not giving the game a chance. But Ninja Theory has had zero good games and every game they made showcases a billion reasons why they're the worst possible choice for DmC.

Anyway, he wasn't on my list. I just loved debating with him.

That Zelda disc/cover is awesome. It definitely adds a point to the overall score, so 6.5 becomes 7.5 amirite?

Which publication will score Zelda the lowest? Of the major sites, my money's on Giant Bomb.

Nah, probably Destructoid. Their reviews have been pure trolling for a couple years now.

It's the internet. Of course they would.

Hey, if you wrote it on the spot, that's cool. Now, if that were actually posted as a real review on a website with editors and paid writers, I would be very sad. If you'd like, I'm happy to put the whole thing into Word and comment up the whole thing with why I think it's badly written.

I probably am on someone's list since I'm banned so often...

Or is it, I'm banned so often because I'm on someone's list? :P
