For once, however, you'll be playing this game a totally new way. The Nintendo DS is a system encourages originality and trying new tricks, and for the DS version, Taito has taken advantage of the DS touchscreen to let gamers play Bust-A-Move in a unique way. For the North American version of the game (which is significantly different from the Japanese Puzzle Bobble game ... importers, you'll be glad you waited), Taito has added a slingshot control mechanism where you pull back and aim your bubble shots using the DS stylus. The game uses the entire bottom screen for pulling back your shot, with the top screen being your bubble ceiling -- if the bubbles stack past the top screen, you're dead.

Wonder why they changed it so much from the jap one.. remember the jap one was just like the classic bust-a-move and we all thought "wtf did taito do?"
