Jordan quality, and more specifically quality control, has gone to total shit the past few years. You probably won't be able to find the shoes for retail price anymore, so I'd stick with the pair you have.

Even my Lance Mountains, which was THE best quality pair of shoes Jordan released last year, have glue stains and shit on them. It's just how the brand is nowadays.

Unfortunately with mass produced items, there are going to be some imperfections and manufacturing issues.

Jordans are no different despite the pricing and the latest "Remastering" buzz.

I'd argue Jordans seem even worse because with all the social media hype you'll hear tons of reports of poor quality shoes. The midsoles on my Bred 11 Lows are creased to heck and my columbias have lots of little quality issues as well. I'm glad my Slam Dunk 6s are flawless though!

It's all anecdotal. Though I would agree that Nike's QC is spotty. But I've read reports of $500-$1,000 shoes. High end doesn't necessarily mean it's immune from QC issues.

Price means nothing. There are sole dxpensive designer shoes made identically to upur average shoe. And at the end of the day soles get ruined pretty easily.

I buy most of my sneakers on sale or with rebate coupons. No point in spending over 200$ when there is so much choice.

UA really doesn't restock as far as I've seen. Your best bet is if you're in the size 14 and up range where those sizes will start showing in stock online. All the Curry's haven't really been readily available here in the US so far.

UA really doesn't restock as far as I've seen. Your best bet is if you're in the size 14 and up range where those sizes will start showing in stock online. All the Curry's haven't really been readily available here in the US so far.

That's a lot of shoes. I have 11 pairs total, I wear them all. Some less than others but still. I think the ones I wear most often are my Roshe and a pair of Jordan 1s. I really like the Wolf Gray Roshe as shoe I can just put on any time with almost anything.

If I was richer though, I'd have a lot more!

I noticed that our local Nike stores have them in stock when I was with a friend looking for a new pair of running shoes. The design clicked with me and I just had to have them. Don't know how their situation is in the US, though.

The gold aglets and jumpman on the ankles are excellent but damn if the quality isn't so inconsistent with my pair. My left shoe is almost perfect while the right is wider and has more extra glue in random spots. The red liner just abruptly ends and will likely fray in the future and the outsole... Look at it. It's like they put a size 9 outsole on an 8.5 shoe and curved it upwards.

Sigh who am I kidding. I'm going to keep the pair because i'd only get a refund since there are no spare pairs I can likely get as replacement. At least with this being imperfect I won't feel bad actually wearing this pair often. As is usual for me, Jordan Retros fit TTS for my wide feet and I have room to wiggle my toes.

Get the Tubular Prime Knits, I think they look better anyway. I wanted to make a customized pair but screw it at $200 it's too expensive.

Are the knits exactly that? Knitted? Is the material some sort of cotton? Like if it were to rain, your feet would get soaked because the material would just absorb it? Sorry if these are dumb questions.

Yeah as far as I know they would. They're basically made to be very comfortable and breathable. I wouldn't wear them if it's raining personally, in fact I rarely wear any of my "good" shoes if it rains, I just wear something cheap, cause it really makes any shoes dirty easily because of kicked up wet dirt.

Yeah I just saw and felt a pair here in Footlocker. Very light and breathable. Definitely a spring/summer shoe. And agreed with the rain stuff. It is just sometimes the weather can fuck around here. So I would have to be cautious as to know exactly what to wear.

It's getting a little over saturated with the all red designs but those LBJs are a good choice if you like the design. Other options are:
